no, in no way is it that. yah ciel is a young boy but really there’s no sexual scenes in black butler and aren’t intended to be sexual.

I think you are mistaken? the author drew some yaoi manga before and then she drew this. even if the original idea might contain yaoi (you have a source for that?), the story clearly went differently.
no, no yaoi BL or shotacon in this one.

i haven't read the manga, but i've watched the whole anime and all ovas and didn't notice anything??? it's one of my favorite animes and rlly nostalgic! when i found out people shipped Ciel with Sebastian i was so grossed out

what about that scene when ciel dressed as a young lady and it was being teased that Sebastian and him having s3x but it was just him fixing ciel dress there was no need for that and that guy who is clearly a pedo is still being kept in the show as a comedic relief is not that gross?

There’s definitely some undertones. Especially in season 2. Definitely not surprising considering the author has drawn shotacon before

just to clarify, I'm saying that as someone who's been a fan of this series for almost ten years. I love it dearly. I'm just surprised that some people are still shocked by the shotacon stuff as if it wasn't in there from the very beginning.

It isn't, there are just people out there who have to make everything weird. Since there is absolutely no love interest or sexualization in the anime whatsoever it definitely isn't shota-con or yaoi

I mean, it is heavily implied in season 2 that the man that took Alois in was SAing him. There is that count or duke guy that is more than implied is attracted to children and that is played for laughs. And I'm not up to date with the manga, but the organization that kidnapped the twins did so for vaguely nefarious purposes and given that the count/duke guy was part of it(?) you can draw your own conclusions? There might not be any overt romance but, the anime/manga still treats the young characters in a very questionable way.
