I didn't notice watching the first episode but after I saw on MAL that the studio changed from seasons 1 & 2 to this arc. Rewatching the ep a second time I guess I do notice a difference, but the animation is still amazing! Did anyone else notice a difference?

It’s cleaner that the first two seasons, especially the close up shots. That being said, the main artstyle isn’t much different.

@Teruki_Inoue the 'cleanliness' probably means a different CD. However, it certainly is less consistent with some scenes. Project still looks amazing, but if this is truly a 'side story'(which judging by ep 1 I don't know, cuz it clearly canon to the story and will most likely impact the sequel) then it probably means the main team are working on season 3 which would also explain why Li Hao Ling is not the main director for the season.

not much difference, very similar in quality and only noticeable here and there but most importantly feels like the same show same scenery same characters, it's a bop

Technically BeDreams / B-Cool Studios (which was formed after Bilibili purchased Haoliners Animation League) is the creator of Link Click and that studio is still involved in the Bridon Arc. Studio Lan gets credit for doing the animation work for S1 and S2 but technically multiple 3rd party studios with relationships to Bilibili have also worked on the show.

Studio Lan is probably busy with To Be Hero X (the other big BeDreams production) and S3 of Link Click.

CMC Media who worked on Bridon, has been working on Fairies Album from S3-5. Interestingly Fairies Album was originally done by Haoliners before they got absorbed into Bilibili.
