I should mention that my question is not directly related to this anime.

I decided to give it a try after seeing the Voice Actors' lineup. Tsuda Kenjiro, Hanae Natsuki, Ayane Sakura, Kitou Akari and even Saori Hayami. All in a single Isekai anime that's not even much talked about (at least I hadn't heard of it before starting). This lineup got me thinking, who picks the VAs? Is it the Studio or the producers? Or both of them and even others included?
Also, VAs must also charge differently for their roles just like Movie actors, right?

well look at the Kimisen anime cast. You'll be bamboozled. Something to do with the production committee and their contracts.
