Only 6 episodes...?

At the time I'm writing this there are 3 eps, it's doing good and as far as I'm concerned much better than season two. Besides that my only concern for this arc is the length, having seen all 3 episodes and what the opening and ending hints us for a much bigger lore than just 3 more episodes, so they should be wrapping it up in the next episode? Honestly so far nothing important has happened, there's one character we don't know yet and it's not looking good.

So here comes my theory, which sounds kind of delusional, but it may make sense: So bridon arc covers 6 eps, maybe some next arc will cover the rest, the ops and eds will be the same and it will be some sort of 2nd cour of antoher 6 episodes. If this is not the case, then I'll be looking forward to being disappointed.

Bridon is considered a side story set before season 1. They are planning on season 3 after this which should be 24 episodes.

well this season is only 8 episodes

Episode 1 is the length of 3 regular episodes. So yes, all of Bridon will be about the length of 8 episodes in time but it is divided up into 6 episodes.
