They absolutely REFUSED to animate him. They usually show a still image, or hide him. I think he moves like 3 times in the whole show. Even then they manage to give Kama plenty of personality and it adds to the comedy. I'm not sure if it's a direct gag from the manga, or if the animators didn't want to deal with animals, but I appreciate the bit.  |
