Is the manga better than the anime? I have watched up till To The Top Part 2, and the manga ended that same year. I know that there was supposed to be more content after that, and I added this to my list. But is the manga worth reading?
I have the first two volumes of Haikyuu lying around in my house by I haven't read them =P

Absolutely. I completed all seasons until To the top part 2 in early 2024, and later that same year read the manga starting from chp 1 and was an amazing experience which I highly recommend.

If you've only watched the anime it might take a couple of chapters to get used to the action but after that it is absolute peak, with one of the best endings I've seen in manga. And it definetly is worth reading over the anime since they're cramming the last few arcs into movies, which means there's going to be a lot of cut content.

If you liked the anime you will love the manga. I would almost advise you to read the manga if you want an authentic ending because they don't seem to fully adapt the ending with the last movie or at least they are going to rush it. But there's nothing wrong with both watching the anime and reading the manga, it's up to you what you do.

biased bcs its my favourite series of all time lol but the manga has such a moving storyline, and furudate's compositional skills are next level - the gameplay is so dynamic and the personal stories are really well displayed. the manga also has much more depth wrt the characters outside of the main gang, you really get a sense of the generation of players present in the story and where they end up, which makes the narrative feel so much more real and authentic
