To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts seems to be one of MAPPA’s unloved underdog, but, sincerely, this series, with all its flaws, tried to attain lofty skies, though maybe in vain…

It was a cool ride, nonetheless, with intriguing characters and captivating art, and that cheap “ending”, it begs for more…
Manga’s finished, so, do you think we’ll see a Second Season, or will it be left to wither?

It's not Mappa underdog it's Kodansha underdog as Mappa are not even in the producers meaning they only got a contractual fees for doing the animation and nothing else.
