Dont get the hate for narumi

I noticed while reading the chapters discussion after each chapter people hating on narumi because she doesn't express her feelings to towards our main boy like he has a few times...

Making out like she doesn't really like him the same way or saying she messing around..

I've watched atleast 2 or 3 times she clearly shown that's there some romantic feelings there, espically the last chapter while her remember what he said about the earrings and wanting to see his more mature as an adult aswell as getting earrings to match.

Also remember they were close friends as kids (almost like siblings) it's understandable that they both would struggle to come to terms with no being attracted that way so easily and quickly.

It seems like there both liking each other more with every passing chapter, but in all honesty I feel the main focus is the slice of life between them all.



Anyways sorry for the long rant, I'm really enjoying this, I only wish there were more manga like wotakoi and bonnouji :(

Maybe people don't like that Narumi is open about her degeneracy? They wish they could do the same?

Also maybe they don't like that she's more of an initiator than Hirotaka.

I read an article crapping on her, about how she crushes on her boyfriends best friend and doesn't put work into their relationship. It was one of the most surface level and innaccurate explanations of her. She's still coming to terms with being open about the things that she likes which could annoy people but the contrast between her and Hirotaka was actually a positive.

Personally, i did actually like the romance between the secondary best friends more when they showed their backstory and i also liked Naoya/Kou just as much as the main cast. It's all really good though. Might have to read it for the 5th time again😅

I watched the anime 2/3 years ago and picked up the manga after the anime immediately.
Tbh, it was beautiful.
I loved it.
Anime - 9/10.
Manga upon completion - 10/10.
