I was really enjoying this and then all of the sudden it was over. WTH? I wasn't done with this team yet! I don't think I would've minded as much if they included

How frustrating! Where's my catharsis? I wanted to cry over it but they didn't even give me that.

What did you think of the ending?

anti climatic like you said. Tho aside from the story, the art style was starting to get to every character, started to look the same with the same goofy expression.

@Mariklyn yep the author was on the verge of giving up and when covid hit japan, it was boon for her. Her artstyle started deteriorating ever since the training camp arc.

IMO she wasted a lot of potential with ryoin's samba and gion's mentor/rival the smallest flanker guy. Even seikazan who was propped up to be the best had no moments in this series. Most of the time it was oharano and his brother or some random guy on the opposite team. She wasted a lot of time building up backstory for the side characters in the main team that wasn't necessarily contributing to the story.

Just disappointed on me investing in this series. Was genuinely looking forward to how gion would beat or clash with those ryoin twins.
