| Touching finale. Congratulations, Himari and Mitsuki! Overall, a pretty good first season, even though the story was a little bland. Not too many truly interesting arcs or character developments. The characters were fine, but they weren't generally as interesting as in PriPara, Kiratto Pri☆Chan or Waccha PriMagi! I guess I liked Himari and Tsumugi the most. For me, the soundtrack was the biggest positive surprise. Zenryoku Joshi Kakumei! (OP 1), We're The World, Perfect☆STARs, Kirameki no Uta, and New Star Joker were my favorite songs. Well, hoping for a decent second season. See you next week.  |

| Low tier Pretty Series entry, that lack any clear direction for majority of it's run. Lacked the chaotic creativity or immediate funness of previous Pretty Series entries, regularly cut it's interesting arcs short, speedrunning through them only to later fall back on forgettable, insubstantial or outright bad episodic episodes that weren't even fun to watch. Hopefully S2 is better with it new casts of characters and it becomes more consistently fun to watch. Hopefully they learn to better pace the show as well as many of S1's most interesting portions (Aipri Princess Tsumugi, Dark Chii, Dark Quartet Stars arcs) could have been longer but were all cut short to negative affect on the show. |
