| So I’ll take it this girl Umi’s from the future. Would’ve appreciated if they had given some details about these MIRU and their motives other than just helping the old man Yoshimura and saying that his existence can make a difference in this world. But I feel bad for his daughter Kanon. I’m not sure what to think of this series yet, but well, I’ve started it so I’ll give it a try—just hoping there’ll be a decent plot. |

I know that too. My point, along with many others, is there’s no place to watch it in the US, sub/dub or not. I also don’t believe that the bullshit comment. I too could look up an episode synopsis and parrot it out as original.
| @nhkam I agree that there are a lot of people on here who don't actually watch the episodes before posting on the forums just to get the top post (Stark700 is easily the biggest offender) so that definitely could be the case, but I have equally been the first to comment on some obscure/unsubbed shows before so I don't think it is fair to make such inflammatory statements without being certain. |

| Although the animation is not the most attractive, the story was not bad. We'll have to see how different the rest of the episodes are and if they all fit together in the end. I liked the theme of the ending. |

| Finally made an attempt at watching this, given clearly noone is picking up subtitling it. My Japanese isn't great, but I could follow most scenes since it is fairly simple (Until MIRU shows up). Overall impressions are that I don't think episode 1 was that great, but there are some interesting concepts in play. If it was subtitled I probably would have given it more episodes. I couldn't really understand (Again, likely due to my lack of comprehension of the language) why exactly MIRU has to disguise themselves as people in the local time for extended periods? MIRU also seemed to straight up lie to the dude a few times AFTER springing the reveal, since they claimed to have replaced a real person, except afterwards it seemed like the depot claimed that person never existed? |
| The first episode (and episode two, last I checked, with the rest expected on the way) is finally available with an English-translated version (Japanese audio, English subtitling) put out by a fansubber, albeit just translated from the French translation from a French fansubbing group. Reminds me of the original Girls Band Cry situation a year ago in last spring all over again I haven't watched it yet but I do plan to watch all of the series unless it somehow turns out horrendous, especially because it's only five episodes. Maybe will come back to share my thoughts later if I have any worth mentioning. |
