| So phil used the robot to remotely search Jacks genetic sequence while they were children (?), in order to find a backdoor to the Abaddon to initiate self destruct (?), which let him hack into Sapientia (?), which somehow led to it destroying the orbital elevator by itself years later, without Phil being responsible (?), at the exact precise time they were ready to declare war (?). Notice how literally none of these things follow logically from eachother? What an absolute clusterfuck of an exposition dump. Phil also only tells this to Jack after he has spent a year bumming around with him, while being an ideological enemy. Why does he keep him around at all when he could easily just be relaying all of this information to Earth? I guess only Sapientia knows. |
