we finally know the truth behind what happened in the first ep

I'm not totally surprised or anything, i can't really feel emotions from this serie even if it is far from bad...

I wish the timing and the reveal was more cohesive in this series. Part of the issue for me is that you never really care for any of the characters and there isn't a real set up for what the SEED project is.

If the AI is playing Skynet where must be a set up for that. Somehow I doubt they will show any of that before the end. We will see.

So phil used the robot to remotely search Jacks genetic sequence while they were children (?), in order to find a backdoor to the Abaddon to initiate self destruct (?), which let him hack into Sapientia (?), which somehow led to it destroying the orbital elevator by itself years later, without Phil being responsible (?), at the exact precise time they were ready to declare war (?).

Notice how literally none of these things follow logically from eachother? What an absolute clusterfuck of an exposition dump.

Phil also only tells this to Jack after he has spent a year bumming around with him, while being an ideological enemy. Why does he keep him around at all when he could easily just be relaying all of this information to Earth? I guess only Sapientia knows.
