| I haven't watched this yet, but I have been keeping an eye on it and I've noticed how consistently low the score has been. I'm not sure I saw it rise above a 6/10 rating at any point during airing so far. What about this show makes the score so low? Is it seriously that bad? |
| This series is a continuous of the game. So if you not familiar with the world and it's characters then you'll be lost. |

| I kinda could care less about Sin or Unika & their whole thing, but I'm still enjoying the show. They're giving some choice Brisket content & the little snippets taunting me with "haha no Testament for you, loser" have been kinda funny. It's good for 3dcg, imo. Not Orange tier, but good. (Also my "average" rating for most series is 7, with a few hitting 6, & those are series I think are pretty decent & enjoyed quite a lot. 8 & up are for series I think really knocked it out of the park. I dont consider 6 a low score tbh. Obviously everyone has their own way of measuring this kinda thing.) |

| I am enjoying it a lot so far. Fun action series with a lot of GG fanservice like Dizzy and Ky as a couple. |

| @assignedgengar I agree that 6 isn't a bad score, though for MAL averages anything below a 6/10 is usually reserved for series most would consider the worst shows of the season or shorts (MAL users hate shorts, for some reason). From the general responses in this thread, though, it's not surprising that the score is so low. Seems like the story is just meant to be fanservice for GG fans and anime fans have a thing against CGI in general, which doesn't help its rating. |

I was worried they were gonna be weird about it, but relieved they didn't do her dirty, actually. The lighting & composition reminded me of some scenes from Outlaw Star & old Tenchi series. It was a nice nostalgia trip(for fanservice). If this was meant as an insult, you managed to say a lot more about yourself(as usual). |

I don't usually care for 3dcg in anime myself, tbh. When it's a well blended mix of 3D & 2D, like Houseki no Kuni, it can be real eye candy, but most of the time, it looks pretty jarring. Trigun Stampede was really smooth & beautifully done, too. On the other end, there's Ronja, Kemono Friends, & Failure Frame, but I'd argue that they all had other elements that helped make them worth the watch. (Hypocritically, since I failed to get past the 3D animation in Ronja or Kemono Friends. Failure frame had a compelling & interesting story that kept me invested. Ronja was just painful bc I grew up on the book & I still can't forgive Ghibli for that one.) |

| It's as narratively watered down and aesthetically castrated as the game it was based on. Even casual fans wouldn't be able to enjoy it without having to sort through 30 years of increasingly convoluted and poorly written lore to understand what's going on. |
| I havenT'watched it but most video game adaptations tend to be on the bad side tbh sicne they are mostly made for promotion purposes and they don't spend much budget on them. |
