| Well, that girl has a lovely voice. Feels like this episode/season is more about entertainment than the others. Still, there's always drama related to this anime and this one is no different. Tsubakino is still so fun to watch. We're getting a fight coming soon with all the tense buildup. Feels like Wind Breaker is breaking out the fight mood again. |

| Kanji was acting so goofy as he cheered on Shizuka, and it was a surprise to learn that the Roppo Ichiza members are all the same age as the students from Furin. They all look so much older because of their build. It's going to be even harder to tell in the future when more high schoolers who look like grown men appear. Loved seeing another well-animated fight in this episode. The peaceful times are finally over, and things are starting to heat up. Sakura and Kanji, as well as Suou and Miyoshi, bonded nicely during the fight. Nirei, I believe in you, dude. You’ll improve and become strong enough to fight by your friends’ side. Shizuka has such a pretty voice, but why are these people after her? I wouldn't be surprised if someone hired them to kidnap her because of her voice. The number of persuaders targeting her won't stop. Let's see how things unfold. |

| “Every action has a reaction” is the theme of today’s episode and my goodness that’s a hell of a reaction from whoever wants Shizuka. Wtf is going to be her backstory? What could possibly warrant sending hundreds of dudes after ONE girl?! We’re leaning back into the action aspect of the series! Glad we got a LITTLE respite before this war started. Tsubakino screen-time is always welcome. Learning about how he came to be a pole dancer was so cool. Just love how comfortable he is in his own skin and it’s all thanks to the older couple. Amazing how people can change the entire trajectory of your life! Shizuka’s voice is absolutely angelic, but you can definitely feel some pain and loneliness in there. I don’t think the lyrics were any mistake. She’s running from something, but what? It’s gotta have something to do with the people who are after her. 100 grown men vs 10 Bofurin/Roppo ichiza kids, who’d win? π Cloverworks COOKED as usual. So dope seeing Sakura and Kenji working together, also peep how proud Suo is to brag about Sakura being the grade captain. So cute! Nire still not quite at the point to join in on these big battles but I respect he’s trying to get stronger and analyzing where he could have an impact. It’s adorable how Suo uses this as a teaching moment for him! Holy shit we got a new gang. GRAVEL seem like pure demons on a different level than we’ve seen before. There’s something very scary about an opponent that has nothing to lose. These dudes are trench babies that have to fight to survive, there’s no comfy homes waiting on them when they get back. Gonna be so dope seeing Roppo Ichiza and the others going all out against them next week! |

| Why the heck was she singing in english and with the usua ai level english speaking of the japanese at that. Anyway whatever. Roppo Ichiza is cool as heck. Sakura is reminded of Umemiya. I was looking forward to watching Tsubaki fight but that'll have to wait. Though totally not disappointed at all cause Roppo Ichiza and Kanji has been great. Kanji and his second in command is just like Sakura and Suou. Also I wonder why these guys are after Shizuka, maybe her family's rich and she ran from home? They also feel off, as if they are on drugs. |

| After the first big fight at the start of the Season, everything has become boring. After Sakura learned what caring for others is (for like 3 episodes) we are now seeing the story of the other big dogs. Or more like big bi-? Lol Anyways, the story is just uninteresting at this point and even the action feels pretty boring when you don't really care for what's the reason the fights are happening in the first place. (I don't know if my immersion breaking with a bunch of kids beating up adults is also affecting this.) It's like when you watch an really good episode it feels like 5 minutes, but these past few episodes instead feel that we got 5 minutes of actual content while the rest was a waste of time. I really want to be interested but I feel like I'm forcing it to be honest. |

| Well, technically he also left out re, not just fa but then if he'd remembered that, he couldn't've called the guy(s) fucker(s), could he? Lmao. Brilliant little bit there. So I guess they're not gonna elaborate any more on Tsubaki and his poledancing though. Or his looks, which... Still can't decide if they meant to go for comedy or "shock value" with that one, it just looks awkward either way. All the guys look genuinely great in their casual outfits, same as Shizuka and Kotoha and others. Styling and everything's overall good. And then we have Tsubaki, where it just feels like the artist didn't really understand that simply putting a guy in "girl clothes" does not work. Especially when the guy is actually rather quite buff. Different shapes, different musculature, and all the wrong parts get highlighted, while what could/should be alluring (or lewd, even, if that's a point) - gets lost, which, y'know, one would think is rather the point if he's going to poledance half naked on a stage. It's not even cute, which was the crux of his whole backstory. And then such dated pieces/details too. Which... ok, fine with little Tsubaki getting mentored by old people. But we also did get a glimpse of / hint at him going for magazines, which wouldn't feature old stuff, so why no update now that he's in "full bloom" so to say? It's even weirder with, again, all the guys around him rocking the modern looks, creating quite the contrast. (And also, with so many guys around him... don't tell me not a single one of them could give him pointers. lol) Anyway, I guess that's too much thought on one specific detail, when the whole anime is just so absurd at this point that idk how anyone can take it seriously: good laughs to be had from beginning to end, in almost every episode, which is what matters. |
| Hella enjoyable episode with loads of fighting. At first I wondered how they could tell which where the interlopers vs. the ones from the district until it was made clear, the "suits" are the district and the rest are others (except the Furin ones). He was smart to leave 3 bodyguards with the girl. Do they all want her for her voice? At least one group is protecting her and the artistic integrity of all in the district. I loved the part where he starts loosening his tie and the last scene where one of the tough guys is shrugging off his Jacket suit ... shit's about to get heavy! |

@RooKiE_15 why watch if it’s ‘not the same”? Seriously what’s the point in that. This has always been wind breaker that’s why I’m so confused when others say it’s changed or isn’t the same? Like are we watching the same show? The plot has always been simple but the characters are what makes this series enjoyable. If you don’t care for Sakura’s dilemma, nirei getting stronger, the mysterious surrounding suo then WHY continue watching it if even the characters don’t interest you?

That's the point of this group, though. They're a bunch of starving people from a really bad area with nothing to lose, so they act as mercenaries using their numbers above anything else. Even if they're individually weak, they can overwhelm with numbers, exhausting their opponent. Granted, there will be members that can fight, but that's not the majority of Gravel.
| @amentet Kanji literally sent one of them flying, and one guy was like, "haha look at this idiot, charging in by himself," before getting sent flying himself. Do they not have eyes, or self-preservation instincts..? Besides, they seem to be really enjoying themselves for some poor people that's doing dirty work because they have no other choice. Meh, I get that they're just goons whose only purpose is to get mowed down. But the anime keeps trying to be sincere and "keep it real" that I wish they took things a little more seriously... |

| It's quite surprising that Shizuka sings in English without any Japanese accent (Japanese English, yk). Speaking of her singing, I also didn't expect that we would also hear the entire song in its entirety, without any cuts. Kind of time-consuming, isn't it? Well yeah for sure, it was a great performance by her. Anyways, more fight scenes today. It seems that the group of people who were chasing Shizuka are back again in greater numbers, not having learned their lesson after being "massacred" in the previous episode. And yep, we are introduced to a new gang, GRAVEL! |

| Great episode and about what i expect from this anime, still if i had to nitpick i would say i sure miss the hype 1 vs 1 instead of fodder beats em all fights, still the choregraphy looked insane and i loved the moves used by Sakura and the leader of the Roppo Ichiza, looked like heat actions straight from Yakuza or Judgement, also i feel like Nirei is teased bit by bit to have the potential to become a monster at fighting, i'm curious to see where he's at in S3. |

| Loved the episode. I really liked both Shuuhei and the leader of Roppo Ichiza, though the former seems to be a psychopath, while the latter is just a badass. Still, they were both incredibly cool. Putting them aside, I can't imagine the reasoning behind their interest in Shizuka. It's like they're obsessed with her. Not Gravel, but the people who hired them, I wonder why. Shizuka aside, I can't wait to see how the upcoming fight unfolds. I'm especially excited for Shuuhei against the leader of Roppo Ichiza. I honestly have no idea who's going to win, haha. |
