I know that Studio Kai has quality, although each adapted work gives me the impression that it is well done because the anime team is good and not because of Studio Kai's merit. In any case, when I saw that Studio Kai has four animes scheduled, I was distressed, even though the team is different for each anime.
The one that worried me the most was "Jigoku Sensei Nube (2025/2026)", which seems to be receiving a lot of resources with several action directors that are rare and still having twenty-four episodes, meaning it will be produced before, during and after Yuusha-kei.

Studio kai:
Jigoku Sensei Nube part 1 (2025)_Summer
Sentenced to be a hero (Yuusha-kei)_Fall/2025
Taiyou yori mo Mabushii Hoshi_Fall/2025
Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi_Winter/2026
Jigoku Sensei Nube part 2 (2026)_Winter

Studio kai:
Jigoku Sensei Nube part 1 (2025)_Summer: I don't know much about the production of this anime, but the division into two parts indicates that they planned 24 episodes but had to separate them "probably as a measure to facilitate production, like in the case of Yuusha-kei". About the anime, it seems quite mediocre in terms of direction and composition, but because of the action directors, the fights are good.

Taiyou yori mo Mabushii Hoshi_Fall/2025: it seems quite bad, not because of production problems, but because it was planned to be mediocre on purpose.

Jigoku Sensei Nube part 2 (2026)_Winter.

Sentenced to be a hero (Yuusha-kei)_Winter/2026: judging by the decisions made so far, the team seems to know what they're doing."I hope"

Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi_/2026: taking everything into account it probably won't be in Winter.

Studio Kai: update

Jigoku Sensei Nube Part 1 (2025)_Summer:
The anime is performing as expected so far. Some scenes are above average, mostly action scenes. Otherwise, the animation is average, the design is simple, the direction is good or very good, but the composition is terrible in most scenes.

Taiyou yori mo Mabushii Hoshi_Fall/2025:
It seems very bad in every aspect, not because of production issues, but because it was planned to be bad. This anime is certainly not getting the studio's attention.

Jigoku Sensei Nube Part 2 (2026)_Winter:
No information yet.

Sentenced to Be a Hero (Yuusha-kei)_Winter/2026:
Judging by the decisions made so far, the staff seems to know what they're doing. "I hope" and I also hope Studio Kai stops adapting anime. There are already five animes, with Jigoku Sensei having 24 episodes and Yuusha-kei having a very demanding production.

Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi_/2026:
So far, only the protagonist designs have been revealed. Considering this is a romantic comedy, the production probably isn't very demanding.

Last anime announced by Studio Kai "so far đź’€": Snowball Earth_2026;
So far, there's been a short teaser and the staff announcement. The only staff member worth mentioning is the character designer/lead animator, who has worked on several animes for Studio Kai. Regarding the anime, it seems like it's a mecha anime, so I don't know what to expect.

Finally, aside from Yuusha-kei having a very demanding production and Jigoku Sensei, which is average, the rest will probably be below average except for this mecha anime. I just hope Studio Kai stops taking anime and that Kanan-sama and Snowball Earth premiere in October so the studio doesn't get overloaded.

Studio Kai: Update

Jigoku Sensei Nube Part 1 (2025)_Summer:
Apparently, when the anime premiered, they already had eight or nine episodes ready, so it seems healthy.

Taiyou yori mo Mabushii Hoshi_Fall/2025:
Shoujo with mediocre production, similar to Yamada kun lv.999.

Jigoku Sensei Nube Part 2 (2026)_Winter:
No information yet!!! This is worrying; it might be delayed, but I think it's unlikely.

Sentenced to Be a Hero (Yuusha-kei)_Winter/2026:
Since the last update, PV 2 was released, and we've had confirmation from several qualified animators. Production seems to have about five or six episodes ready, and there are still three months to go before the premiere, so it seems okay. The problem that worries me is that it's hard not to think that Yuusha kei will be hampered by Studio Kai's sheer volume of productions.

(NEW)Koori no Jouheki_Spring (2026): Again, a romance with mediocre, or perhaps even slightly above-average, production.(NEW)

Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi_/2026:
So far, only the protagonist designs have been revealed. Considering it's a romantic comedy, the production probably isn't too demanding.

Snowball Earth_2026;

New: Now there are seven productions over nine months, one of which has already finished in July 2025(jigoku sensei nube/part 1), another is finishing now in October 2025(Taiyou yori), two for January 2026, one of which is Yuusha Kei, and now one for April 2026, although we do not know if Yuusha Kei will actually have 12/13 episodes as expected, and finally two more for sometime in 2026. Studio Kai has a vast team compared to other studios of the same level, but this amount of productions, even if the majority are of mediocre quality, worries me.

@Desmascarado

Actually, I’m more worried that 'Sentenced to Be a Hero' might affect the overall quality of Studio KAI’s other projects.

Looking at the staff list, it seems that studio’s main team is only working on this and 'Snowball Earth' next year.

Masashi Masuo - Sentenced to Be a Hero
Kento Nishimura - Snowball Earth

@LassoMan Yes, you're right, but "Yuusha Kei Ni Shosu" staff is composed of freelancers. That means Yuusha Kei's quality is far above Studio Kai's, thanks to the quality of its staff members and director Hiroyuki Takashima's connections.

Regarding the producers, judging by the track record of Studio Kai's producers, the best producer is Masashi Masuo, whether for the quality of his work or his industry contacts. Kento Nishimura doesn't have a good track record, and I don't know anything about his contacts.

Studio Kai's staff is extensive, so they have the capacity to produce several average quality anime. However, I'm worried that this will impact Yuusha Kei's production, since unlike Studio Kai's other productions, Yuusha Kei has the potential to become a huge success due to its quality animation and story.
The fact that they delayed production by three months perhaps means they know they have an anime with potential and will dedicate themselves to its production.

(NEW)Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi_Spring/2026:
a pv was released and the anime seems to be well done for a low-cost echii, this is most likely due to the director "Muroya, Yasushi" and the character designer "Minagawa, Akari" who are very good, especially the character designer who is an excellent director, animator and storyborder.(NEW)
