The anime series adapting Kei Urana's action fantasy manga will air on July 6 at 11:30 p.m. on the Agaru Anime programming block on CBC and TBS' 28 affiliate stations.Voice actors Toshiyuki Morikawa (Black Clover) and Yuuki Shin (Tokyo Revengers) are joining the cast as Regto and Jabber, respectively. DUSTCELL (Kimi wa Meido-sama.) performs the ending theme "TOMOSHIBI." Fumihiko Suganuma (Sirius episode director) is helming the anime at Bones Film. Hiroshi Seko (Jujutsu Kaisen) is handling the series composition and Satoshi Ishino (A.I.C.O. Incarnation) is designing the characters. Taku Iwasaki (Bungou Stray Dogs) is composing the music. Urana began serializing the action fantasy manga in Weekly Shounen Magazine in February 2022, featuring graffiti designs by Hideyoshi Andou. Kodansha published the 14th volume on March 17, with the 15th volume scheduled to go on sale on June 17. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in March 2023. | I'm super excited for this. I hope the cool factor of the manga gets carried over to the adaptation... As for the CG monsters: it's not really a surprise, and I'm mostly fine with it. I just hope it won't turn anime-only watchers away from the anime. |
