Hi, I am planning on soon scaling an application that can send messages in chat boards when a user makes changes to their mange/anime list. Currently there are less than 5 users that have to be polled, which works perfectly fine, but as more users are added it may reach within the hundreds. To maintain a reasonable delay, it may be necessary to query many users per second, but as I understand, it is recommended to not exceed 2 requests per second.

Is there a good way to approach this? I'm wondering if anyone has tackled this problem before. I've considered the RSS feeds (which I assume to be higher bandwidth) but would prefer being able to use the API. I am also unsure of all the RSS feeds that are actually out there, since there doesn't appear to be a place where they're listed?

Thanks in advance
