| What a masterpiece of a chapter, I swear. First and foremost, I’ve gotta hand it to Aekyung, she activated such a self-damaging skill (Forced Rank Reduction) just to stop Hyun and Yeonhan's fight and prevent a dungeon break, which could’ve led to countless innocent casualties. Chapeau! Seriously, she’s a true officer through and through, in both duty and heart. Putting Aekyung aside, Forced Rank Reduction is such a convenient (though brutal) skill for an officer to have. In exchange for severe side effects, you can forcibly lower the rank of a hunter, or even multiple hunters, to maintain order? Without that skill, I honestly think the city would've been done for due to Hyun and Yeonhan’s fight. Total disaster avoided, haha. What I also loved was how only Yeonhan got physically hurt by Aekyung's skill. Aekyung isn’t immortal, and neither is Yeonhan, so the forced rank reduction put him in critical condition. Meanwhile, Hyun is immortal, so she just gets weakened but not knocked out or injured. She literally insta-heals. I loved the moment when she was about to end Yeonhan. Speaking of that, I was so glad Dongju finally stepped in to save his sister from being murdered by Hyun. Bro really just stood by and watched the whole fight unfold before jumping in at the very end? Never seen a more pitiful, disgraceful excuse for an S-Rank in isekai history. Honestly, I laughed when Hyun called him out for stepping in now instead of earlier. Like, where were you before? Also loved how she’s totally gaslighting him into joining her side. And honestly? I wouldn’t blame him if he did. Let’s be real, who could resist Hyun’s charisma? Especially when she’s out here fighting tooth and nail for you (even if she’s also a total psycho)? Jokes aside, I’m really curious to see how Dongju’s going to respond to her proposal, ending his sister and joining Hyun? That’s wild. Last but not least, Yeonsu annoyed me a bit this chapter. I get that Hyun’s a stranger and Yeonhan’s her colleague, but why the heck is she judging based on appearances? Just because Hyun is unscathed, you automatically blame her for what happened to Yeonhan? Like, duh, she's fine, but you don’t know the context. So maybe shut up? Your precious colleague Yeonhan started it, you idiot. Hyun’s only unscathed because she instantly heals, thanks to her ring that grants her immortality, you tart. |
