| Raw is out. Well, they're back and Kazuya is still a pervert like I had expected. Not even a few mins into this show and he has those fantasy dreams. Good to see the other cast members back though like Ruka, Mini, and of course Chizuru. Their chemistry in this episode was awkward. God, I hope Kazuya's personality improves this season but he's left an eye rolling impression from this episode. |

| We sadly lost one of Reiji’s masterworks last Tuesday, but at the very least we got his real masterwork back… Rent-a-Girlfriend. Ya know, after how much I genuinely enjoyed Shiunji, I’m going into this season with an open mind… (I’ve read the manga, I have no fucking hope man). But truth be told, the arc we’re covering this season, while not on the same level as last season’s, is still a trainwreck of fun. So yeah, let’s do it. Kicking things off with a little tease of what’s to come… ah shit, they knew exactly what they were doing lol. But back to the present, picking up right where we left off, after the whole premier thing has come and gone, we start the season off with Kazuya doing what he’s best at: choking the living hell outta his chicken… LOLLLLL. So yeah, another masturbation scene means one thing.. progress reset! …Again. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but if Kazuya ends up with Mami now, I won’t even be mad. He clearly doesn’t care about Ruka or Sumi. If Mami pulled a Nanako Saeki on him, I’d be fine with it. Seriously, anything’s better than annoying-ass Ruka. Oh and yeah, there was a whole segment dedicated to Ruka this episode… sigh. But hey, at least we got ourselves a, wait what’s this? A non-rental date with Chizuru…? HUHHHHHHHH?!??! Kazuya, you’ve done it ma boy. Don’t get it twisted though… like at all. This is nowhere near plot development, especially not with what Kazuya did at the end. We might’ve truly sunk so low with this anime that people out there might legitimately think asking someone out counts as development, especially in yet another episode filled with the same dialogue and scenes from the last few.... What a return eh xD Yeah, I mean, it's same old RAG... to be expected. Let be so honest here, we're here for one thing and one thing only this season... the infamous panel adaption. Oh boy, I am so ready. |

If you thought that last season's Shiunji-ke no Kodomotachi a.k.a The Shiunji Family Children was weird, or some might say, the PEAK of Reiji Miyajima, Kanojo, Okarishimasu a.k.a Rent-a-Girlfriend IS BACK and will ABSOLUTELY piss you off with the latest split-cour season's adaptation of the manga's infamous Hawaii Trip arc. Kuribayashi got absolutely tanned in the Summer heat, and Kazuya still on his cucking parade, is kind of restless after quite the Summer break together with Mizuhara on Season 3's impressive Movie arc, that sadly left quite the sour taste on both of them. Of course, the Summer break birthing more couples than usual, and Yaemori having more affiliation with Kuribayashi better than Kazuya does, as much as Ruka is happy to see him again and wanting to go on a hot springs trip to steal Mizuhara's place if she doesn't do anything and wants as much physical touch as possible. The surprise for Kazuya to get asked out by Mizuhara for the first time, it's literally a dream come true for him having the fantasy of his own life, but he's still in doubt of what she actually wants from him. It's not officially a date as she's off-work to invite Kazuya to a cafe to talk and clear feelings of him and Ruka, as well as repay him of the money spent on him for the movie, which Kazuya clearly doesn't need it back, and Mizuhara can get back to her usual cheeriness personality. Of course, Kazuya seeing a chance with this, asks Mizuhara out for lunch, and how will she respond? The calm before the storm, everything's still good for now and literally ONLY for popcorn entertainment. |

Also apparently there’s censored and uncensored versions from the looks of it, which is quite funny considering they never had that back during the previous seasons when things got raunchy. Not like it really matters that much, anyways, when the bar is already in the Mariana Trench. |

Or more like, straight away just after the last episodes. Want this to be a part of Guinness book for receiving most number of sequels than any other series of its kind. |

| Im going to try speak my feelings of this show in the most civil way possible without saying anything that could get me like banned. But how does this show have 4 seasons? This is unironically one of the worst things I've ever watched, I mean like there's far worser shows out there don't get me wrong but like man I just can't stand this show. Kazuya might be the worst mc of all time and just is handled horribly. Like someone like Issei from DxD is a much better protagonist which is downbad and he got handled way better. And all the girls in this show are just so boring except maybe Sumi, Ruka is literally just a annoying cat, I can't describe Mami or I'll actually get banned, Chizuru is decent overall and actually had a good dynamic with her grandma especially last season. But like man all the decent aspects of this show just get ruined by Kazuya. This show don't have a single good male character. Like there are so many more romance which deserve a season 2 over this thing. Plus the author's other work Children of the Shiunji family is leagues better than this. Don't get me wrong its not perfect but its actually pretty good especially compared to this. Literally the only reason Im still watching this is because im a masochist who refuses to drop shows. |
| Nice to see this series return for another season. They spent too much attention on his balls lol. Hard to believe its been two years since this lie started. The maid outfit does look good on Ruka though. Still the festive kimono really suited her and their interactions after the bath house was cute. If anything chi chan is someone that always separates whats work and whats personal so her paying back her agency and electing to try and pay Kazu back was just like her. |

| Oh man, it feels so good to be back watching Rent a Girlfriend, now it feels like summer is truly here, and I guess it helps that it’s my first Summer 2025 show to begin lol. Yeah I know it gets a lot of hate, but you know what? I don’t care lol. This show is such a delight for me, been following it since it started in Summer 2020, it’s a comfort anime and I guess you could say it’s a guilty pleasure too, I don’t understand hate watchers really but I’ll just say I hope this season makes you red in the face angry every episode lol. And this was a fun episode to return too, some Ruka goodness in the first half and Mizuhara in the second, and of course lots of Kazuya fumbling, and I may be a RaG glazer but it sure was a choice to start the season with Kazuya busting a nut lol, but hey it’s realistic at least. And the “date” with Mizuhara was some very nice aftermath to the events of Season 3’s ending, it’s wild that she felt the need to give Kazuya money to make up for her not being professional, but thankfully Kazuya didn’t take it and reaffirmed that Mizuhara was still a perfect girlfriend, I’m glad we started out with our boy taking a W this season. And hey he actually tried shooting his shot beyond the initial date plans, you love to see it but I wonder how Mizuhara will react. And I’m not sure if that was the ED by Regal Lily at the end but it was very good, I’m excited to hear that ClariS OP next week hopefully. And with that we’re back! Feels good man, especially coming right off the Shiunji Family finale. |
