| I think it's because of the number of members who rated this anime. There are more 100k members who added this anime, but only more than 700 members who rated this anime (obviously from Japan since the first episode was released first in Japan). 700 members OUT OF 100,000 members, that cause the average rate of 7/10  |

| Ik this is a masterpiece and I'm a huge fan of it myself, but I don't like it that people are rating it based on the manga. It's the same incident as when Lord of the Mysteries first arrived. At least watch 5-6 episodes at first. |

| @Yuya-Noboru I don't mind the fact that people rate it 10/10, as long as it's not THIS early! This gives me the same vibe Oshi No Ko did when everyone gave it 10/10 and it was a number 1 anime after releasing just 1 episode. Like geez even though the "3 episode rule" isn't a very good rule it at least generally gives a good enough idea of the show to make a "preview rating" of sorts. Doesn't really matter though at the end of the day because MAL ratings are entirely based on the user base, and the user base being anyone on the internet kinda just makes the "serious" part disappear for areas where its needed like ratings. I wish putting up a sign saying "please give serious thought out critique with MAL ratings" would do something. The internet is the birthplace of brain rot, tons of memes, "twitter level" arguments, and somehow "text based" sarcasm. Which TBF there's not necessarily anything wrong with that but it often gets put where it's not supposed to be. |

| People really are making a huge fuss over nothing lol + if Frieren and Vinland Saga are rated higher than JJK and Solo Leveling, maybe it's because they're better + stop complaining about users giving an early rating. Either the anime is consistent and the rating stays still, or the rating goes down over time + all three Cloverworks anime are good shows, don't hate just because it's not your cup of tea |

| @MewsicMagic You're totally right. And I'd go further saying that people shouldn't be able to rate an anime that hasn't ended yet. Seriously. This would reduces reviewbombing and make ratings more reliable and representative of the whole show. That said, I watched the first episode and it was pretty good. |

| @Yuya-Noboru Yeah, I have (almost) no doubt this show is probably pretty good (I haven't watched it yet), I just felt like it was too early to call this a "masterpiece" at least in MAL rating terms (it's like #30 all time already). Honestly, if this show turns out to be a masterpiece, that's a good thing, I just have a immense dislike towards giving something a "crown" in a sense when it's barely shown us everything it has. I've got nothing against this show, in fact I have no opinion on it because I haven't even seen it yet, I just have something against the extremely high hype trying to make this out to be a masterpiece. I'm not even really against the hype, just against calling it a masterpiece this early (probably due to the hype). |
