Megumi Morino's Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai (A Condition Called Love) manga ended in Dessert's September issue on Thursday. The 72nd chapter marked the conclusion of the manga's over seven and a half year run.

Morino began drawing the school romance manga in Dessert magazine in December 2017. Kodansha published the 17th volume on May 13. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in March 2020 and published the 16th volume on April 8.

East Fish Studio produced a 12-episode television anime adaptation in Spring 2024. Crunchyroll streamed the anime with multiple subtitles and dubs.

Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the Shoujo category in 2021.
