| Finally they remembered that Nana/Wink exists and gave her two really good episodes to start the second half of the series. Really liked she and Zakkuri’s arc a lot, he’s such a sweetheart and Wink was the perfect person to break through to him. We also now have a new henchman to worry about! Things are gonna get interesting for the girls. It’s so sweet how even after being rejected by Zakkuri, all Nana could do was think about how she could get closer to him and really understand him. We can obviously see Zakkuri has social issues and wants to be more than just a henchman, but Nana also struggles to express how she feels which we went over way back at the start of her character arc. Uta and Kokoro have helped her improve, but she’s still got a ways to go so this arc was good for both she and zakkuri. “Couldn’t you go once in a while?” 😭 nah this is killing me because fr what does Chokkrine actually do besides bully cutty and zakkuri, talking about some “you need to work harder because cutty’s gone” um, you should start working yourself tf lol A new henchman dropped? Figured we were due for one with Cutty being gone and Zakkuri on the verge of being turned good by wink.. his summoning sequence is pretty cool and he’s kinda.. you know.. lol. This week’s fight was solid, only right Wink get the solo performance at the end and deal the final blow. “I’ll be a wink fan from now on” ahhh zakkuri is such a cute tsundere I love him sm. hopefully he learns to be more open with his feelings soon! ❤️ |

| Zakkuri got fixed. And we are entering in the second minion cycle, and Chokkirine literally worked just one day, in 25 episodes. |

| This episode was INSANE! I wanna know what's the deal is with the new person (who I assume is Kaito) sooooo badly! Also, is it weird that I found Zakkuri and Wink's interactions cuter than Cutty and Idol's? Not in a shipping way, but in a "Aww they actually have compassion for the villain and that's adorable" kind of way. I do love Cutty and Zakkuri—they're both big dorks I can't help but get at least a little attached to. I hope this isn't the end for them in this series, though. I'd love to see them again. Also next week is the Kokoro/Kyun-Kyun episode!!! I'm so excited!!! :D |

| Zakkuri always had super funny facial expressions I'm going to miss him, Wink is super cute, I don't usually care that much for Blue cures (I don't hate or dislike them just whatever) but I like her a lot. |
| finally, the return of non-team finishing move - at least for this episode. Nice to see Nana doing a solo performance again. and Zakkuri is actually a good person. Notice he just walked away, instead of teleporting away, just like what Cutty did on his last fight. I guess he's no longer coming back to the bar. Chokkirin would be forced to work now. lol looking forward to next week. :) |
| Interesting episode, the thing of Cure Kiss/Gai from Choujin Sentai Jetman turned into a Pretty Cure being clearly linked to the main antagonist of the series gave me Kamen Rider Black/Shadow Moon vibes, for some reason. Like one of the minion of the enemy making a turncoat to the good side (like the whale in KR Black) did. And the last time I had Kamen Rider Black Vibes was in Kamen Rider Geats, and it became my second favourite Kamen Rider of all times, second only to Kamen Rider Kiva. Maybe, just maybe I've FINALLY found my official entry in this IP? and all that it took was to fall in love (because I am in love with her) with my new wife Cure Idol while browsing for some random images of blonde anime girls on Pixiv! Never underestimate the power of sexual fanart over the brains of us men, gals and guys. |
| Oh yeah, there are also Random Choujin Sentai Jetman vibes too. The Yellow Ranger from that one who worked in the crops vs. a woman working in the sunflower crops, love/hate stuff between Cure Wink and the enemy guy, etc. etc. etc. Funny how this Pretty cure series is giving me the vibes I wished for in Gozyuger and I wasn't served from episode 21 until 29 at least, and in very small doses in episode 29 alone. Thank you my first wife of the Cure franchise (I have the suspect she won't be last) Cure Idol, I love you even more than I did before. |
