Why on earth does this anime drag and why on earth must I feel like im supposed to gaslight myself into liking this heroine and protagonist when both are just ok apologizing people you can see at your local park. I genuinely think her friend makes for a more interesting romantic dynamic but I digress.

im just annoyed because I want to like this anime I genuinely do im litrally DYING WAITING FOR THEM TO BE IDK SPICY DO SOMETHING its so fukin ahhh bro. Like waiting 20 minutes for an episode to then justify that time watched gotta be the most miserable shi watching an anime man. And ive sat through some anime that bumfuck nothing happens but ATLEAST IT WAS INTERESTING THINGS GOING ON. THERES NOTHING INTERESTING HERE. ITS EPISODE 4. There was like 1 scene where they had a cute moment but it was so like OK I felt nothing from it. Idk surely its gets better in ep5 right RIGHT?!?!?! It was only ep1 let it cook And im still left with the same feelings.

Ok done rambling just curious if anyone is having this ongoing dilemma with this anime. Im finna go watch Bad girl Now

And if you say you’ve rewatched Monogatari, then yeah, you really do like wasting time. That series tries to look deep and philosophical, but it’s just surface-level pseudo-intellectualism mixed with panty shots and word salad. I dropped it by episode 3, better to read an actual philosophy book than pretend you're being enlightened by 15-minute monologues about toothbrushes and underage girls.

Not every slow-burn romance needs to cater to your need for instant gratification. If this isn’t your flavor, walk away. The show doesn’t need you to suffer through it while you wait for fireworks that clearly aren’t your style.

That you don't notice this kind of character build up is a you problem.

As for this series, if you still have not found it enjoyable even after 4 episodes. It is not worth your time.

you didn't even have to make a thread on this cause no one's gonna agree. the manga is known for its well developed alot and characters. The characters take their time, the world around them takes its time and that's the beauty of it.
just drop it cause this ain't gonna have the pace of those harem or fantasy ones.
I'm not sure but the younger people are pissed about everything. they want the entire story to happen in a few episodes or they just hate on something or the other.
if everything happens in 4 episodes, tf you're gonna watch it for? this tiktok generation just bothers me with their nitpicking and hating on everything.
