⚔️ Theory: The Tournament in Record of Ragnarok Will Be Interrupted – Leading to an All-Out Divine War
As of Round 11, the score stands at 6–5 in favor of humanity, with the recent victory of Simo Häyhä over Loki. This sets the stage for Round 12, with strong fan theories suggesting Anubis vs Rasputin, followed by Odin vs Nostradamus as the final round.
However, I believe the tournament won’t make it to Round 13 — or if it does, it’ll never be completed.
🚨 My theory: Round 12 will be sabotaged by the gods, leading to an all-out war beyond the ring — the true Ragnarok.
🧠 Why This Makes Sense
1. It would subvert the obvious formula
If the gods win Round 12, we go to a 6–6 score and get a final decisive Round 13. It’s structurally clean... but very predictable. Record of Ragnarok has shown it's not afraid to break expectations — Buda switching sides, Jack the Ripper being a “hero,” Tesla nearly beating a demon.
The next big twist? Breaking the tournament itself.
2. The build-up around Odin is too ominous
He’s been watching silently from the shadows since the beginning.
No god has more mystery surrounding him. What if Odin never planned to play fair?
What if Ragnarok is actually his tool to wipe the board clean and create something new?
3. Loki, Beelzebub, and Nostradamus are wild cards
Loki has already interfered in the past. Beelzebub is linked to dark forces.
Nostradamus broke the Bifrost and is called the “harbinger of the end.”
These characters don’t play by the rules — and they’re the perfect triggers for the collapse of the tournament.
🔥 How It Could Happen
Round 12 begins — likely Anubis vs Rasputin.
Rasputin gains the upper hand through strategy, manipulation, and madness.
The gods realize that if they lose this round, humanity wins Ragnarok.
Before the match ends, Odin (or another god) intervenes, breaking the divine rules.
Chaos erupts. The tournament ends prematurely. The battlefield expands.
This triggers the true Ragnarok: an all-out war between gods, humans, valkyries, and traitors.
The real enemy is no longer each other — it’s the divine system itself.
🧩 Symbolically, It Makes More Sense
The tournament is a symbolic trial — but humans aren't just proving strength; they're exposing divine flaws.
A final battle not just of fists, but of ideology and rebellion, fits the direction the story has taken.
Instead of a neat ending, we’d be left with a question: “Should gods really hold the fate of humanity in their hands?”
🎬 Possible Endgame
Humanity and rebel gods team up to stop Odin’s true plan.
Nostradamus unleashes a prophetic cataclysm.
Buda, Brunhilde, and Loki fight alongside humans.
The final “battle” becomes a war of worlds.
The old order falls — a new world rises.
🌌 Final Thought
This twist would elevate Record of Ragnarok from a tournament series to a full-on mythological epic.
Not just a fight to survive — a story about freedom, rebellion, and the fall of divine tyranny.
Would you prefer a traditional Round 13 final, or a complete breakdown of the system and all-out war?
Let me know your thoughts!
i still think even round 11 is yet to finish, I'm having this feeling that when simo returns to his dog he might get surprise attacked by loki who took the form of his dog
its unlikely that nostradamus would take kintoki's place in the final round, kintoki is the national hero of the author's country and was voted number 3 in the popularity poll before even participating in the tournament, they are most likely saving him for round 13 against odin, if nostradamus is going to participate it will be in round 12, either him or rasputin

@Lanarde makes sense, regardless of who are the contenders for round 12 or 13, I think we might not get a round 13 at all, probably round 12 got interrupted by someone, my guess would be Odin, and start his plan.
I think a win for the gods in round 12 could be a little bit forced, author would need to be carefull on how it's done to avoid being predictable.
Either way I think this manga is great, I usually avoid reading ongoing mangas but this one got me hooked. Can't wait for how it develops.
@ImSpookd because it was actually formatted by chatgpt :), not very good writing, just told what was my theory and gpt write it down and format it, what are your thoughts on the theory btw?
