Fruits Basket Another
| I was mainly wondering if this provides any insight into what happens to some of the support characters after the main story. Characters such as Haru, Rin, Saki, Arisa, & Momiji. Also, would this work as an epilogue to Fruits Basket? I understand that it's a new story with its own cast, but does it tie back to the main story at all, even in passing? |

| It's connected to the main story. I guess the main thing is the children of the people in the main story. |

It introduces a new cast and focuses more on the next generation, so it’s definitely its own thing. That said, there are little references sprinkled in—some of the original characters are mentioned in passing, but they don’t really take the spotlight. I wouldn't mind reading this (it's short and fully shelved at my library) if I can at least infer some closure on support characters from the main series. But if it's just a repackaging of Furuba with the next generation, then I think I'll pass. |
