 The official website of the television anime adapting Shougo Imamura's Ushuu Boro Tobi-gumi historical novel series revealed the main cast and a key visual (pictured) on Wednesday. The anime, adapted by SynergySP, is scheduled to begin in January 2026.Cast Gengo Matsunaga: Yuuichirou Umehara (Goblin Slayer) Shinnosuke Torigoe: Shuuichirou Umeda (Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals) Torajirou: Subaru Kimura (Jujutsu Kaisen) Hikoya: Nobunaga Shimazaki (Baki) Seijurou Kaji: Kensho Ono (Bungou Stray Dogs) Imamura began penning the historical novels under Shoudensha in March 2017. The latest volume of the Ushuu Boro Tobi-gumi series, Koi Orochi, was released in March 2022.
