Lin Jingyun's master?

@AnastasiaWun no he's not i think he appeared last in season 1, when he took Lin as a successor and gave him the sword...

He did meet ZXF around that time also but didn't pay attention to him

@AnastasiaWun Also ZXF was not kicked out of the Sect, he escaped thanks to ghost King.

The Sect "Qingyun" had sentenced him to death for practicing martial techniques from 2 sects...

It was was in the process of dao xuan killing him that Biyao gave her life to protect ZXF...

Personally I expected more hatred from ZXF towards the Qingyun sect, or atleast the Sect leader Dao Xuan...

@Richlord oh, that was what the old man said to Gui Li after seeing his fighting technique - Expelled (kicked out) from Qingyun
But yes, Dao Xuan actually wanted to kill ZXF

Don't know if ZXF hated Dao Xuan / Qingyun or not since he still hasn't seek them out for revenge

@AnastasiaWun Yeah that's what he said could have been error in translation or just terrible continuity...

But he's sentence in season was execution not expulsion.

ZXF hasn't shown any inkling of hatred towards Dao Xuan which is my problem...

Also in this episode the old man was happy with ZXF skill and was thanking his stars for meet him, so what was that suppose to.mean I don't get, because I was thinking it would go something like the old man would help ZXF get rid of the evil energy in his body or at least teach him something...

Because he was 💯 more powerful than ZXF, but the cut scene just to show him dying
