 The [Oshi no Ko] Kanto Noryo Matsuri event revealed a pair of additional cast and a second teaser visual (pictured) for the third season on Sunday. The anime adapting Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari's showbiz drama manga will premiere in January 2026.Yuuto Takenaka (Isekai de Mofumofu Nadenade suru Tame ni Ganbattemasu.) and Youji Ueda (Sousou no Frieren) are joining the cast as Shun Yoshizumi and Tetsu Urushibara, respectively. Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) is returning to direct the third season at Doga Kobo. Jin Tanaka (Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukoukai) is handling the series composition and Kanna Hirayama (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) is designing the characters. The first season aired in 11 episodes in Spring 2023, followed by the 13-episode second season in Summer 2024. HIDIVE simulcasted both seasons with subtitles and an English dub. Akasaka and Yokoyari began serializing the manga in Young Jump magazine in April 2020 and ended it in November 2024. Shueisha published the 16th and final volume in December that year. Shueisha began publishing the manga in English on its Manga Plus platform in April 2022. Yen Press licensed the manga in English in July 2022 and released the tenth volume on May 27. | The moment of truth that divided the history of Oshi no Ko's fandom and the title itself into before and after is getting closer. I don't even know with what feelings I will watch this. If at all. Especially when Aka is debatably one step away from abandoning another title. |
