I think a season 2 is much more appropriate. Maybe a film would not cover everything, but I truly believe our waiting for season 2 is going to be 100% worth it, giving how great season 1 was.

I'm not sure how many shows are as enjoyable as Friren to binge.

I could see a condensed version of the test arc. There are a few characters who could have no scenes and nothing would he lost.

The first 18 or so episodes you need the passage of time to get the feel for the series. imagine covering 80 years and virtually all of Ferns life in 90-120 minutes. You'd leave too much on the cutting room floor.

Game of Thrones didn't need any recap movies, it also had more regional stories (North, kings landing, the wall and Eastos) in Season One, then Frieren has companions.

theyre saying they want a compilation recap movie of season 1 before season 2 comes out. not a new movie in place of season 2. though I never thought anyone actually WANTED recap movies or ovas before this post.

Don’t worry, I am able to speak, read and write in English. I completely understand what’s said. I just said that there is no need for a season 1 movie compilation, because the hype and quality surely will be better in season 2 instead of launching a movie, it’s pointless.

It would be best to encourage the studio to just focus on making more episodes rather than having them waste their time and resources on something we can do ourselves by simply rewatching the first season. Focus on going forward rather than backwards and stagnation.

If they ever make a movie I hope it will be a prequel that covers the journey of the heroes. That would be a lot better.

Try to squeeze 28 episodes with slow pace storytelling into the movie sounds pretty bad idea in my opinion. You can rewatch all episodes in season 1, it only take four days to finish it.

I love the show but the pacing is so slow that there’s not much they can do with a movie. Maybe they could for the golden land arc but that’ll almost certainly be in first half of season 2
