| MYSTERY STUFF!!! Danganronpa Overview: - Danganronpa is a Japanese video game franchise created by Kazutaka Kodaka and developed and owned by Spike Chunsoft. The series revolves around an elite high school, Hope's Peak Academy, which, every year, scouts' "Ultimate" students, talented high school students who are at the top of their field, along with one "Ultimate Lucky Student" who is chosen by lottery. Gameplay in the main Danganronpa games is split into various chapters which each consist of three sections: Daily Life, Deadly Life, and Class Trial. Daily Life follows a standard visual novel style as players explore the school grounds, converse with characters, and progress the story. During designated "Free Time" sections, players can interact with a character of their choice, learning more about them through intimacy events and earning new skills that can help them in the Class Trial. Deadly Life is the post-murder investigation part of the story, in which players search for clues and gather evidence for the Class Trial. The Class Trial is the main section of the series, in which the students attempt to determine the culprit. This involves various types of mini games, the most common of which is the Nonstop Debate. Here, the characters discuss the case in real-time, and the player must spot contradictions in their statements and shoot them using "Truth Bullets" containing the corresponding evidence. These sections are broken up by assorted minigames including spelling out clues, rhythmically fighting against suspects, and piecing together comic books depicting the case. Novels and Manga for Complete Experience Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc- Hope's Peak Academy is home to Japan's best and brightest high school students — the beacons of hope for the future. But that hope suddenly dies when Makoto Naegi and his classmates find themselves imprisoned in the school, cut off from the outside world and subject to the whims of a strange, murderous little bear named Monokuma. He pits the students against each other, promising freedom to anyone who can murder a fellow classmate and get away with it. It's up to you to find out who Monokuma really is, and why you've been taken from the world you once knew. But be careful what you wish for — sometimes there's nothing more deadly than the truth... Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair- Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair takes place shortly after the events of Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls. The game is from Hajime Hinata's point of view as he starts his first year at Hope's Peak Academy. As he walks into the school building, he is overcome with fatigue; when he recovers, he finds himself in front of a door. He has a strong urge to open it, and once he does, he finds himself in a classroom full of his new classmates. They suddenly find themselves locked in the classroom, and a pink bunny, Usami, appears before them, claiming herself to be the class' teacher. The classroom around them soon falls away to reveal a paradise-like island. Usami tells them that they are on a school trip and that they are to befriend each other to gain Hope Fragments and make their hope grow. Just as they get used to the peaceful island life, Monokuma appears and takes control of the island, announcing that the students must participate in a life of mutual killing if they wish to escape. (Everone will become S tier after "Super Dr2X2" which will release next year with a completely new scenario and remake of the original, with improved art) And this list might go upside down! Danganronpa V3: A new world of Danganronpa, and prepare yourself for the biggest, most exhilarating episode yet. Set in a "psycho-cool" environment, a new cast of 16 characters find themselves kidnapped and imprisoned in a school. Inside, some will kill, some will die, and some will be punished. Reimagine what you thought high-stakes, fast-paced investigation was as you investigate twisted murder cases and condemn your new friends to death. Forget what you thought you knew about Danganronpa and join a completely new cast of Ultimates for a brand-new beginning. In a world where everyone is trying to survive, nobody’s motivations are quite what they seem. Use your skills to solve each new murder or meet a gruesome end. The world is shaped by our perception of it. Fast-paced trial scenes will require lies, quick wits, and logic to guide your classmates to the right conclusions. The Sypnosis were from the official site, Now for my personal review of the series, it engages us with a cast of character who have there own backstories and are truly the main character of their lives,So i truly ask you to complete all the free time events after completing the 1st chapter of each game, it helps you to see the characters perspective and future actions better and understand the deceased more... The main component that makes it intresting is the trials filled with minigames and how it develops characters further. The author prefers true shock value over standard storytelling, so the characters you would feel would be safe because they need development will just be gone the next movement, this is the experience of expecting the unexpected and due to the ultimate nature of the character, you would delve into multi-genre according to which character you seem to spend time with, in some cases it will flip your perspective from hate to like, because the writer rewards you according to who you complete hanging out with something you may or may not accept because of the absurdity.. The designs are beautiful yet haunting, the executions are piece of art in darkest zone of earth, except few which were destroyed for the purpose of fanservice, the blood is pink, the best form of censorship which was made official, and if you prefer gags this community is filled with memes because to prevent things from getting to serious, there are shock value dark humour which would make you laugh but still you'd feel sorry for the fact you laughed... The characters are divided into tragic heroes, psychopaths (to spice things up) and gag character to calm the tide, with few or even less normal people.. Danganronpa Another & super Danganronpa Another: These are the fangames created by the Korean creator Linuj and they are written well enough to stand side by side with the main games, The development started in 2013 and ended in 2020, made by this man alone because of his love for the original series. The minigames are limited and free time events are available onyoutube but it adds a lot of depth to the original games. The 1st of the two games is not that high quality, but it makes up for it from storytelling perspective... 2nd game just breaks formula adds more suspense and introduces some characters better than the original, if you like to psychologically analyse. Ultimate Tier List: I conside these fangames to be the part of the main series so i added them along the main game. The original series has a sub episode called Danganronpa Another Episode: This game introduces us to the outside world of danganronpa, adding depth to the story and should be played after goodbye despair, it is much more fast paced and fan servicy but still a good pick... (I wanted to add 100 line characters aswell!!!) Have you played 100 line last defence academy or Rain Code, I felt Last Defence academy was much superior, so i made this aswell, Spoilers kinda: I have only watched (2nd Scenario>>Multiple Eito>Vexhnes><Goodbye Eito>>Coming Of Age>Killing game>=Cult Of Takumi>Eva>>Romance>>Rebellion>=Conspiracy>Reset and i have watched a part of Mystery Route) These Games are ranked by me out of the kodaka and Linuj games: Super Danganronpa 2X2 (9.3) (Don't make me bite my choice) >= Last Defence Academy(9.2)> Super Danganronpa Another 2 (9)> Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc (8.7)> Danganronpa Another (8.5)> Danganronpa V3 (8.0)>Shuten Order (7.5)>> Rain Code (7) Right Now Retsnom route, my favourite one so far, and later stuff will change the rankings a lot so... I love kurara a lot for design they gave her no good development this route... AI Somnium Files (I have not played or watched the 2nd or 3rd games but this was peak dark) so yeah omori (hate him love mari, basil and the pink girl and the borther are like...) (but all are well written)... Another Mystery Game YTTD! () i have its island non-cannon fun beach episode sequal and the original still saved in my pc for the day i replay them (It has one of the best twist but it is still in development) Process Of Elimination! (It's gameplay was so fun and character are intresting and the story does not drage on) I have started playing Eroge too this year And i have played homeless highschool girl, it made me genuanlly sad for her, and during the assault scenes i could nt look anywhere but in her eye's and katagawa shoujo which i am currently playing where you date disabled girl and it's so freaking sweet!!! I liked alien stage too!  The character are in depth and though it is romance genre and you would need 20+ hour of research too fully understand all it's music video! (This had the best mystrey's but worst ending, it woud have been my favourite if some of the truths were revealed or hinted throughoutlike dreams and stuff and if they mono cubs had an inch of development compared to the queen monomi and if Tsumugi had more personality throughout cause i would have had anyone else as a mastermind and her as their support because it felt more like she is the only one not developed enough so let's give her this arc kinda thing) Thiis has a secret ending, which is kinda impossible to get.

this is honestly my goal to complete this are my opinion's accept the goal list which i screenshoted off of youtube, but i have analysed characters, thought upon them, watched video and based upon the writing ranked them... i will update it after 10 more games that i play |
