Episode 1

It starts off with Mukouda gaining another party member in Dora, the cute baby dragon who was attracted to the smell of his cooking, this after Fel used his strength and Mukouda used his magic to roast a bunch of giant spiders as meat. Pretty much, this episode reminds us that while Fel is an OP freak while Mukouda does all the cooking and buys seasonings and other stuff with his cheat skill, he is capable of using some magic himself to fight whenever Fel can't do it. After that, they throw a welcoming party as Dora is welcomed into the group, all while Mukouda continues to rack up the money there with that earth dragon. Great to be back with this show that has been a fun adventure to go on.

I could have sworn they ate spiders like crab last season...or was that another of the isekai cooking shows?

I don't think the show needed another Pokemon but I guess it at least isn't screaming "BEEEEEEE!"

They should do one episode in the art style of the ED.

Episode 2

They arrive in a town to see a dragon specialist in Elrand, an elf who leads the guild in that town. While he knows how to carve up a dragon, an earth dragon is an entirely different matter since it's hide is so tough that it breaks even a strong mithril knife that Elrand uses. So no earth dragon meat for awhile as they need to make a knife strong enough to cut through its hide. But there's no need to go to the dungeon as the gods have bestowed Sui the power of a blacksmith, and Sui can make a strong knife with just the ore from the mithril lizard. Let's see if that thing can cut it, but in the meantime Fel and company need to eat their veggies.

MC tries to keep his ever expanding “family” well fed & satisfied while avoiding any sort of heroics or drama.

I remember it being more entertaining than most seasonals. Ditto for this season, though I’m off to a slow start, still trying to wrap up some leftovers from summer.

First season, gotta admit not a lot of it stayed in my head either.

....He got summoned with some others and was discarded as useless. Picked up Fel and Sui and then made for the border to avoid the BS that the kingdom was up to. I think the Kingdom summoned up some heroes cause they were planning to go to war which is why the borders were getting locked down.

It appears the writers have totally tossed out the story line about the other people who were summoned and his true puirpose was to feed them to make them stronger. Now it is just another show about cooking a new dish each episode.

He was summoned with some other folks but that was never really the point. It was just an excuse to get this guy in another world.

Is what I want to say but I'm not even confident in that ><

I think the one where the guy wanted to actually help was a different show?

Episode 3

It took three days and a sparkling new knife, but Elrand finally got the job done in carving up the dragon. While that was going on Mukohda went dungeon crawling, while he bought a new stove as he's a millionaire and then some in this world already, and that cutting edge stone is paid back four times over after Elrand buys some of the parts of the dragon from him. After that, they cook up a feast, and it was a meal well worth the wait, and Elrand got pretty emotional in enjoying that feast.

Episode 4

It's onto the next dungeon, and Fel speedruns through it with Mukohda going along for the ride, using his defense magic to protect himself from traps. They reach the boss room, but have to wait until the party in it finishes their boss fight, and then they make quick work of those giant spiders to get their legs. And then they go deeper making quick work of those monsters with the new abilities. And then at a break room, Mukohda meets up with Iron Will again, sharing another meal with them. And then they go further down the dungeon with Mukohda given the blessings so that treasure chest traps won't affect him whether they be ones filled with poison gas or are mimics, which he can check before opening. After that, they prepare for a boss battle with a big meal, and while everybody else's stats have gone up quite a lot, Mukohda's stats, not so much, which is quite concerning. So now, it's onto dungeon crawling and while Fel, Sui, and Dora are all freakishly strong thanks to Mukohda's cooking and all those blessings the goddesses have been bestowing on them, Mukohda is lagging.

That was the best episode of this show this season. It was nice seeing him get enthusiastic about something. It's gets tiring seeing the MC act so frightened of every little thing to the point of freaking out when a god tries to give him a blessing.

Episode 5

After having a meal, it's back into the dungeon where they encounter the party Tempest who has a wounded member after fighting a trio of Spriggans. Mukohda continues to get even richer as they paid him a lot for a super-rare potion that helped instantly heal that wounded member to the point that he even lets them stock up on low-grade potions as part of the deal. Then after conquering some more levels, they head straight for the final boss of the dungeon, a behemoth, which is no sweat for Fel. They celebrate with a fried food feast inside the boss room as they get an extremely powerful and heavy sword as a drop for beating the boss. Once again, Fel shows just how strong he is, and how much everybody can eat seeing that Mukohda is more worried about making sure his party is well-fed rather than defeating the monsters inside the dungeon.

Episode 6

Mukohda and gang return from the dungeon and are about to get even richer as that jewelry box the mimic dropped is quite rare and valuable. And then they relax with a bath and milk, but a couple of kids in Daryl and Iris are chased by an orc as they are looking to raise money for a priest to heal their sickly mother. They get treated to an amazing meal of a cockatrice burger seeing that they are just kids. Of course, with Sui's special ability that there was no need to break the bank for a priest as it makes a potion that will do the job, and all it costs them is that orc that was gifted to them. And after that, while everybody else has really leveled up, not so much with Mukohda, but his Online Grocery ability has, which gives him the ability to choose between unlocking a burger restaurant or dessert shop with his skill, and he goes with the dessert shop seeing that Sui really wanted that and whatever the burger place serves he can just cook it himself. And the party really loves it even though Fel was skeptical at first. That was great to see Mukohda being so helpful.

The way he kept getting teary-eyed about how "pure and innocent" the kids were, I was kinda expecting them to suddenly become bloodthirsty monsters or demons or something.

Episode 7

And Mukohda just continues to rake in the dough as not only did he fetch quite a pretty penny with the rare jewelry box that the mimic dropped, but he has a bag full of high-quality jewels as well. He sees the appraiser along with the guild master Ugohl, and indeed it's as they are quite valuable, especially that extremely rare imperial topaz. The appraisers attempt to low ball him, but Ugohl steps in and he gets even more money from the deal. After that, Mukohda is promoted from C to A rank seeing that being the first to clear the nearby dungeon is quite the accomplishment. They ate skewers on the street, and after he becomes even more of a millionaire, cooks some meatloaf for the party. And then he leaves Ugohl with some snacks from Japan for his family to enjoy, and they are quite a big hit with his children in Mikhail and Milana. More great food and great times here, and after that deal Mukohda has a lot more money, which he will need given Fel's gigantic appetite and everything.

Episode 8

Mukohda is looking to upgrade his grill to make the ultimate BBQ, but the blacksmiths aren't exactly willing to make him one seeing that after all, they make weapons. But he did find one and offering him some otherworldly booze did the trick. And while he eagerly awaits his new grill, the gods are getting quite restless there as they want even more for their offerings and have different requests as to what tenant to unlock when he reaches level 40, which is quite a way off for Mukohda. But he tells them to be patient as he will increase their allowance in exchange for not rushing his leveling. So after a meal of roast cockatrice, the grill is done and Mukohda shows off his skills as a bartender there making a highball cocktail in the new mithril cups that Sui just made. Mukohda sure is wanting to cook everything and anything he wants, and now he has the capacity to do so even more with that new grill.

I'm surprised the dwarf wasn't more shocked at him having cups made of mithral. I would think that would be a bit like taking a really nice diamond and grinding it up to coat your frying pan.

Yeah I can't think of another isekai where there aren't even any potential waifus--or husbandos(?)--showing up here and there. At the very least he needs another humanoid around just to take over the cooking duties every now and then.

Episode 9

Mukohda makes some orc sausages for the party, all while Fel takes down a tiger and a rhino to add to the growing pile of game meat. It's onto the next town in Nijhoff where they meet the guild master Goran and look for a place to live seeing that they need a large place outside town with a big kitchen, and they find the perfect home. There, he whips up a meal of orc curry that's another hit with the party. After that, Mukohda takes on a quest with Fel and Dora making quick work of their monsters, while Mukohda defeats some Venus flytraps using herbicide from Japan. After that, Sui is getting bigger and Mukohda is starting to level up now that he has a skill that increases his EXP gain. This party has been traveling so much, and now they finally have a place to call home, and with all the money Mukohda has amassed that he can get just about anything he wants.

Episode 10

Sui has leveled up so much that it can grow to be quite big, all while the kills keep on coming as Fel takes down a kyklops. After that Mukohda's party is asked to go on a quest to take down a pack of orcs due to the need for a large number of C-rank parties needed, and the others are out on other missions. So Mukohda works together with Shadow Warriors for the quest. Mukohda's party makes quick work of the majority of orcs, while Mukohda himself as the Shadow Warriors take down a good number themselves, and afterwards they enjoy his campfire cooking that's unlike anything they've ever tasted. So with the job done and Mukohda having finished what he came to Nijhoff to do, it's time to leave his Airbnb home to go off to the next town, Berleand. This never gets old as it's always fun to see Fel making mincemeat out of monsters, then Mukohda cooking the said mincemeat.

If they do a third season of this I'm not sure if I'll watch or not if it's just more of the same. I guess I would if there wasn't much else on, like how it's a dead day this season. This needs to get an actual story or some new companions or something.

Episode 11

Mukohda and the gang arrive at the seaside city of Berleand, where they rent out an even more luxurious Airbnb to set up shop at, and there they are out to catch a lot of seafood seeing that they have been eating nothing but land-based monsters. And they end up with three big catches as while Sui was out fishing, Fel and Dora took down a kraken and sea serpent. Another big fish tried to snatch their prey away, but Sui takes care of that. And with that, the whole town is feasting on grilled kraken. That was great to see everybody pulling their weight as even Mukohda was useful with magic even if he isn't fighting. One more episode left to go as they enjoy their stay at the seaside town while continuing to do adventurer's work before setting off for their next destination.

Episode 12 (Finale)

To end this season, Mukohda and company go around Berleand and have a taste of all the great seafood the town has to offer, and the merchants there were all too happy go give away a bunch of freebies, which of course will go a long way to keeping Fel full. So Mukohda fires up the grill and makes okonomiyaki out of the seafood he acquired. And after their meal, Mukohda gets a letter from Lambert given to him by Marx requesting that he makes more soap and shampoo seeing that they are selling like hot cakes. Fel defeats a red dragon, but he can't defeat brain freeze as Mukohda bought a machine to make shaved ice. Just when it looked like things couldn't get more hectic, there's an emergency quest, as well as the goddesses requesting that he makes seafood okonomiyaki for them. But he does all that, and they end their stay with a night of fireworks before moving out and heading to their next destination. Quite a lot going on here to end the season, but Mukohda has gotten his fill for seafood, and his buddies to as well. That was a fun way to end things, though I would have liked to see some resolution on the many things going on.

Final Thoughts

This season is more of the same from the first season as it's a mostly lighthearted fantasy show with a fun atmosphere as the characters are great, the adventure is well-done, and the humor makes this show go, all while doing a nice job in changing up the ideas to keep things fresh. But it also tends to get repetitive and Fel's OP-ness tends to get overplayed. Nevertheless, it's a nice follow-up to a great first season.
