![]() https://myanimelist.net/anime/60427/ Plot Summary Let's walk and talk. Can you get up? The Gnosia lie. Pretending to be human, they'll get in close, trick and deceive, and then eradicate each person in the vicinity from the universe, one victim at a time. The crew of a drifting spaceship, facing off against a mysterious and deadly threat known as the "Gnosia" and having no idea who among them is really the enemy, formulate a desperate plan for survival. The most suspicious among them will be put into "cold sleep" one by one, in an effort to completely rid the ship of Gnosia. However, it is almost impossible to tell whether each person put into cold sleep was really Gnosia—or simply a poor, unfortunate scapegoat, sacrificed by the Gnosia for their own survival. Can the humans emerge victorious? Or is mankind doomed...? Other Information Type: TV Episodes: Unknown Status: Currently Airing Aired: Oct 12, 2025 to ? | Episode 1 To start things off, the main cast is introduced with Yuri being the MC, as well as the situation as one of these inhabitants on the spaceship is a Gnosia, and if that person isn't eliminated all is lost. Yuri doesn't even remember what his name was until she is told about it. So after discussions and observations, a vote is taken to decide who the Gnosia is, and whoever gets the most votes goes into a cold sleep as that's the only way to know for sure is a person is the Gnosia. In this round, Racio is voted out, and thus, she's put on ice, but they guessed wrong. Afterwards, some more talk and after they went to sleep Jina gets attacked. So that leaves just Yuri, Setsu, and SQ with one of those being the Gnosia and knowing that Yuri didn't eliminate Jina that it's either Setsu or SQ. In the last round of voting, Setsu was voted out and placed into cold sleep, and it turns out SQ is the Gnosia and humanity loses this round. But with Setsu's parting gift that he resets. This show feels just like scifi version of the realty TV show Survivor, but without the immunity challenges. In terms of another anime show this feels like, it's Rokka, another show where there's a traitor amongst the group and the series is spent trying to rat that person out. They played a complete round here, but Yuri gets another chance to play after losing the first time around, so let's see where this goes. Nevertheless, an interesting start to an interesting concept, though I'm not totally convinced knowing the reputation this studio has in making shows. |

It's nice to see a science fiction show in the mix. This goes right onto my watchlist. I'll be looking forward to seeing how the rest of the cast gets involved.

Episode 2 Just as I was suspecting would happen, the Gnosia will change with each iteration. SQ was it the first time, while Jina ended up being the Gnosia this time around. Yuri and Setsu form an alliance and they would vote out SQ, but the others vote Setsu out instead, and with her parting words, tells Yuri to be skeptical about trusting others. Then the warp happens with Racio being eliminated, leaving just Jina and SQ. However, Yuri guesses wrong again, and he's back to playing it again from the start, but it looks like there are more players this time around. I was expecting the Gnosia to be somebody else, but I though that SQ would be eliminated in the warp that would have Yuri scrambling and making a panicked decision. So pretty much it's a repeat of the first episode playing out just like Survivor where there are alliances and betrayals, as well as the need to figure out who can be trusted or not.

Oh boy is this just going to be the exact same episode with new characters over and over? Ugh why does the MC have to be a whiny bitch :/ How come Setsu had boobs with her heavy jacket on, but when she took it off and was in just a T-shirt she was flat as a board?

So it's like The Thing, Among Us and Iria: Zeiram the Animation all in one? It says it's based on a game. But it's a VN deduction game like Phoenix Wright and Danganronpa and all those other similar games(?) But it's from 2019 so I'm torn between noping out or giving it a go because it's based on a VN. To be honest though, it sounds really boring.

Shows adapted from light novels have a habit of turning out to be utter crap, missing important details or left permanently incomplete The only problem is that 90% of all shows based on VNs will only incorporate 1 heroines true route and if you prefer a different heroine you will be left disappointed. Or you will wind up with a series of short story arcs like Amagami SS or the many other shorter VN adaptations. Then there's Steins Gate which has a very slow buildup that puts a lot of potential fans off. Or ones that simply cannot be taken seriously. And then you get ones like Higurashi that were very successful. Could only imagine how horrifying it would be if Saya no Uta was ever adapted. |

Episode 3 Apparently, just winning the game and eliminating the Gnosias isn't enough to stop looping. In the third loop, there are now seven players and two Gnosias, but there's no telling if a Gnosia is eliminated unless both of them are. Racio was voted out first, while Setsu was eliminated through the warp. Yuri believes that Jina is one of them, but the vote went towards Shigemichi instead, and with both Gnosias still standing that Yuri loses again as this time it's Jina and Stella. The fourth loop has one of the guys being the Engineer where they can make inquiries, and Yuri uses it to figure out who voted for him in the first round, and with that knowledge, he convinced everybody else to vote for the one who was revealed to be the Gnosia. So with that, Yuri finally wins, but it's not over yet as apparently there's something else at play. I wonder what that is.

Even doing that doesn't work? Ugh, also why don't they just randomly put people in and out of cold sleep until the light turns green? These people are also way to nonchalant knowing one of them will be randomly murdered when they go into warp 9_9

Episode 4 And the reality show just keeps on changing. In the fifth loop, Yuri ends up being eliminated at the warp, the first time he didn't make it to the final vote. And then in the next loop he finds out that Setsu has been looping much more than Yuri has been, and that there's something called the Silver Key that collects data from Yuri and Setsu looping to eventually lead to the ideal timeline, or something like that. And so, it's off to the next loop where Setsu tells Yuri that she's the Gnosia that Jina overheard, but Yuri hesitates to eliminate her, instead voting for Stella instead, which turns out to be a game-losing decision. So now, Setsu is also looping, and it turns out that loopers aren't immune to being the Gnosia.

Watched the first two episodes and thought they were both stupid. The whole set-up makes no sense at all. I'm no physicist, but I'm pretty sure Shrodinger's cat has nothing at all to do with this situation so the idea that the identity of the boogey man would change is just another thing that makes no sense. There's only one explanation that makes sense so I think I know where this is going, but its not worth my time watching the rest of this. I'll just wait and check out the final episode.

Yes, the objective is to learn things about everyone. That's what players have to do in the game to win. It does seem like a weak plot for an anime. Yuri has to survive each loop long enough to... socialize. I'm still enjoying it. I'm just that starved for science fiction, I guess. They could have chosen a better name for the main character, though, since having a Yuri and a Yuriko in the cast sounds redundant.

Episode 5 Now playing for the 7th time, two new contestants join in Chipie and Comet for a total of 8 players, and there is one engineer, but Yuriko and Stella both claim to be it. Seeing that the Gnosia tries to confuse that while it narrows down the possibility that one of those two is the Gnosia, there's also a chance they eliminate the engineer that would be a huge blow. So after discussions, they pick Jina to go into cold sleep first. After that Yuri gets to know Chipie and Comet better in the gym as Chipie's robotic cat turns with him, and Comet's tattoos are actually a slime microorganism. Then Racio is eliminated during the warp, and with the engineer's inquiry, Setsu is human according to Yuriko, while Chipie is a Gnosia according to Stella, meaning that it all comes down to who is the real engineer. After thinking things through, Yuri uses the fact that Stella reported a Gnosia as the deciding factor seeing that the fake would risk a lot by outing another as a Gnosia. So in the end, they choose to believe Stella and eliminate Yuriko, and then Chipie to win this round. Good to see that Yuri used some great logic there to win this time, but of course as he knows already, it's far from over and he will need to keep on winning.

As far as escaping the looping is concerned, it doesn't really matter if Yuri wins or loses. Yuri just has to get information. On the other hand, assuming each loop is a parallel universe, winning or losing determines whether the humans on the ship survive or not in that universe, so it's still important.

Episode 6 In this loop, Jonas, the shop's captain, and Kukruska, a speechless girl, join the reality contest, and now there are 3 Gnosias among the 12 crew members with one of them being the engineer, doctor, and guardian angel. Yuri is the guardian angel, who can protect one person from being eliminated by the Gnosia during the warp, but everybody is silent about it. As for the engineer, Kukrushka and Comet claim to be it, while Shigemichi and Yuriko declare themselves the doctor. So that means either Kukrushka or Comet is a Gnosia, either Shigemichi or Yurki is another, and the third is among the remaining crew. So for the first round, Stella decides to sacrifice herself to not risk eliminating one of the three with a special role. For the warp, Yuri protects Kukrushka knowing that the engineer would be the biggest threat and would get targeted, and he chose correctly as the Gnosia went after Kukrushka and was protected, meaning that Comet is a Gnosia. But the bigger question is how to communicate that fact without revealing himself as the Guardian Angel. Knowing that, Kukrushka reports that Yuriko is human, meaning Shigemichi is a Gnosia. As for the third one, it's Racio, but unfortunately she outmaneuvered Yuri as she was spying on his secret meeting with Kukrushka and when Yuri revealed he was the Guardian Angel, nobody believed him. So this time, Yuri loses due to him being voted out, and he's back at the start. This goes to show that while it's one thing to figure things out, messaging is another thing entirely as he totally failed on that front.

(Episodes 1-3 - English Dub) This is quite an interesting concept, though I only watch it on background. It has the potential to make its time loop aspect feel as deterioratingly stressful as it did in Steins;Gate and Re:Zero, but it's clear that its choosing to focus on the finger-pointing drama instead. Unfortunately, the 'werewolf' aspect of the show isn't really fun to play along with, since it's clear that they can just BS their way to revealing which one(s) are Gnosia for each episode, since it has no clear mechanics to it, and the results keep changing in each loop anyway. Heck, they already succeeded one time, and it restarts again; What's the point now? xD I'm assuming that this is gonna be the type that relies on the twist at the end, or the meaning it tries to represent, and I think I'm at least curious enough to know what they're trying to imply with this whole thing to keep watching this. But I'll wait for the English dubbing of each episode (the JP dubbing makes the oblivious protag unbearably irritating with how much he repeats the words the others say. Racio on the other hand is very irritating in English Dub, but at least it works for that character's role.)

Episode 7 It's a new loop, and this time three new players join in the dolphin Otome, Remnan, and Sha-ming, who is holed up in his room unwilling to come out. While voting Sha-ming out first seems to be the logical thing to do, he needs to be sent into cold sleep or else the ship self-destructs. So while debating what to do, Jonas and Shigemichi plays an intense board game that Jonas wins, but in doing so he leaks out the fact that he's one of the two Gnosias on-board, so Jonas is eliminated first. After that, Yuri and Setsu have a private conversation about gender and love as that's one thing Yuri can't understand. And then Stella comes forward revealing that she's an AI and is part of LeVi. Shigemichi falls in love with Stella, but Stella isn't quite ready to reciprocate his feelings. Then the warp happens with Jina eliminated. Then Otome joins Yuri and Setsu in convincing Sha-ming to come out and seeing that he's telling everybody that he's sabotaging everybody's future for his selfishness that he finally comes out, and reveals that he's the other Gnosia. So this is a win for Yuri, putting his record at 3-6. Of course, there are still many more loops to go, but he's slowly getting the hang of this reality show.

(Episode 4) If my understanding is correct, I'm basically just gonna watch some entities do their jobs in collecting info about other people. xD It was interesting and unique in its own way, but I think I'll bail out for now. I was hoping it would be the kind of show that would make me think and play around with it, but there seems to be really no point in me trying to do so. I wouldn't take it from the show to have some interesting revelation at the end but, I'm just not that intrigued anymore. I'll try and see if I can binge it when the dub gets completed.

Episode 8 With the Silver Key having filled up quite a lot, it's onto the next game with 15 players and 4 Gnosias, along with the new role of guard duty, who are two guys confirmed to be humans in Kukrushka and Remnan. After three days, the remaining nine decide to all go into cold sleep, which is in violation of the rules, to end this round with the Gnosias being Chipie, Comet, Jina, and Otome. But just when it looked like Yuri was headed for the next loop, Kukrushka breaks out and starts killing everybody in cold sleep. And after she kills everybody, Yuri is back to the next loop, but this time Yuri is one of the Gnosia. That was some twist there seeing that it looked like Yuri was ready to play this reality show again, but almost everybody was killed in their sleep by a human, all while Yuri is now going to play as one of the bad guys.

Episode 9 And now, Yuri is playing this loop as a Gnosia with Comet and Sha-ming being the other two among the 10. While Yuri is unsure about how to approach things, Setsu reminded him to play the role he is given the best he can. So for the first tribal council, Comet and SQ claim to be engineers, while Sha-ming and Setsu claim to be doctors, and the first to be voted out is Jina. Then comes the warp with the three Gnosias gathering and decide to eliminate Otome. Next day, Setsu reveals that Jina is human while naturally, Sha-ming would say she's a Gnosia. But when it comes to engineer reports, both SQ and Comet say Setsu is human, a huge mistake on Comet's part as she struggled to come up with a fake report, which outs Sha-ming as a Gnosia and is unanimously sent to cold sleep. But Yuri comes up with a plan to take advantage of that mistake. So on the final day with Shigemichi eliminated during the warp, Yuri uses the vote history to spin a convincing story that lead everybody to thinking Comet is a human, and it works. So the Gnosias win this round and afterwards, Comet confesses her love for Yuri. That was great to see Yuri thinking like an enemy for the first time and he did a great job at it.

Episode 10 In this loop, Yuri is a girl instead of a boy as was the case in all previous loops. In this loop there are two Gnosias, an engineer, a doctor, and two confirmed humans in Racio and Shigemichi. While trying to figure out who to eliminate first, Yuri and Racio talk about the Silver Key, and from what Racio said, concludes that Yuri was a Gnosia in the last loop to learn more about Comet. So Yuri takes this opportunity to learn more about Jonas and Sha-ming. And after being shuttered in his room, Sha-ming finally allows Yuri to speak with him, and Yuri can tell that Sha-ming is a Gnosia. But then Comet's slime attacks the crew that is looking for a new host after it mistakenly believed that Comet is dead, and it is revealed that Kukrushka is a doll that Jonas brought on-board that resembles his wife Arya, who didn't make it to the ship. And then Sha-ming reveals himself to be one of the Gnosia, with SQ being the other. But just when Yuri was ready to loop again, Yuri gets a heated surprise as the temp was turned way up to deal with the slime. So this was another game that didn't progress normally as Comet's slime started to take out the players before they could send anybody to cold sleep, all while Jonas has quite an interesting background.

Hmm. The main character changing gender doesn't happen in the game. But the player can choose whether the main character (who we never see on the screen) is male, female or non-binary at the start. There are some variations in what can happen based on the character's gender. I suppose the show is paying respect to that, but I don't think it fits the timeline loops very well. SQ was acting a little odd, wasn't she? I'll bet she was the other gnosia.

Given the name, voice, and overall look of the character (plus the show focussing on gender a bunch) I was kinda expecting this from the beginning (actually though he was a girl at the beginning). Didn't really add anything unfortunately, no real tension with Sha-ming since we already went through that loop. Only question is how are dolls getting infected with Gnosia? I see Crunchyroll already has this listed for next season too. Not sure I can watch another season of this.

Episode 11 Yuri is back to being a boy and is greeted by SQ in this loop where there are 9 players and 2 Gnosias, with Yuri and SQ granted immunity for being confirmed humans. Kukrushka is the first one sent into cold sleep, which eliminates any chance of Yuri learning about her. Then Yuri and SQ talk about who to target between the suspected engineers in Shigemichi and Remnan, all while Yuri tells her that he has been looping, while SQ reveals that she's an android and is given the name SQ for being the 511th android produced, who are given letters as names from A to Z, then AA to AZ, and so on. While this SQ is a failed experiment, in other loops she's a success. The warp happens while Yuri was rushing to speak with SQ, and Jonas was eliminated, while Setsu, the only doctor, says Kukrushka is a Gnosia. But Yuri figures out that assuming Setsu is telling the truth, then Shigemichi is definitely the other Gnosia since Remnan voted for Kukrushka knowing that a Gnosia wouldn't vote for another Gnosia. So with that, Yuri and the humans win this round, and afterwards SQ confesses her love for Yuri. Quite a nice way to learn about SQ there as she's not exactly human, but she's someone who deserves to be treated like one assuming she's not a Gnosia. From the look of things, this show will be continuing into the winter season as there are 7 BD volumes solicited for release in Japan with the first one being 3 episodes long and the last one coming out in June. Not to mention there's no other show announced in its timeslot for next season, so I have reason to believe that is the case and we will know for sure by next week.

Episode 12 And now, each of the players is getting an episode about them as it was Setsu being the first to greet Yuri for several loops, but the recent episodes have somebody else doing it, and this time it's Jina's turn. This loop there are 10 players with Jina and Otome being the Gnosias in this loop. Yuriko is the first to be voted out. After that, Yuri and Jina talk about each other with Yuri telling her that he has been looping and shows her the Silver Key, and that Jina just wants to go into cold sleep and end it all right there and then seeing that she hates being dishonest. As she's a Gnosia and had been living a difficult life as her mother passed away and Jina was sent drifting across space as a Hoshibune. Jina asks Yuri why he's helping a Gnosia like her, and pretty much Yuri will help anybody no matter who they are. Racio is eliminated in the warp, and Chipie is the engineer, while this time both Gnosias claim to be the engineer. But they made a fatal mistake by both outing Chipie as a Gnosia thinking majority rule applies, but it became clear they are the Gnosias since they never out each other as a Gnosia. So the second vote has Otome voted out, but after that Jina gets out of the spaceship and decides to give herself a funeral in space. Pretty sad story that was there for Jina, but in the end lying is the thing she least wants to do. As it was plainly obvious already if you looked at the BD release schedule and the TV lineup for the winter season, it is now confirmed that this show will continue into the winter and will be taking next week off before continuing two weeks from today. I will look back and provide a loop summary once I get the chance to do so.

The show is mostly loyal to the game, which has its advantages and disadvantages. The game mechanics can seem clunky and contrived for the anime. For example, LeVi knowing that there's an engineer or doctor, but not being able to identify them. I think the characters (outside of the main character of course) have been very well transferred to the anime, though. I may be biased due to the shortage of science fiction anime, but I'll give the show a mid-season rating of 8/10.

Meh again becoming a Gnosia, who are portrayed as evil killers, doesn't stop them from sacrificing themselves. Shouldn't this transformation be a little more absolute? Outside of looking nice (though not having action sequences means they can devote the budget to the characters) this show is really lacking. I mean obviously there is character development, or should I say revelations, since everyone gets reset every episode none of it carries over. The end goal, gaining knowledge, is pretty lame. They should have had some kind of mission beyond that Yuri needs to accomplish or something.
