| OH MY GOD IDOL’S POWERUP LOOKS SOOOO GOOD!! So for the first time we have a cure with two colors!! Couldn’t ask for a better birthday present than my girl getting a makeover!! Also, doomed yaoi in my precure?? Everybody was worried about them being weird with Kaito and Uta and this man is GAY 😭 wow what an episode First of all, when are they opening these idol precure stores globally so I can spend my life savings lol?? Hopefully I can grab a lot in Japan. The more I watch all of these Kaito x Uta interactions the more I question how anyone who watched the show could even think they’d do anything weird here. Kaito has never shown any romantic interest in Uta, he’s been a nice older brother figure to her and she clearly has a crush on him which is normal for a girl her age. It is sweet that she wanted to be there for him though since he doesn’t have anyone without Kazuma. Speaking of which, in hindsight, Jogi being Kazuma should’ve been really obvious because they never waste characters in precure, at least not the ones I’ve seen, so there’s always some sort of connection. Them being best friends is a fitting twist. The way Kaito been singing this whole time to teach Kazuma and reconnect with him is so sad:( of course Jogi goes after his old friend this week as the monster of the week leading to our big moment. Idol’s refusal to let Jogi sever the bond between he and Kaito, allowing her to surpass her limits and unlock the Idol Heart Ribbon power up is sooo fucking cool, my girl looks amazing. The animation was soo good and her climax performance was beautiful!! “I want to see you smile” “idol you’re..” oh shit, the cat’s finally out the bag. Kaito is gonna realize Idol is Uta. I wonder how this’ll affect their relationship going forward.. but this put any sort of fear of a weird relationship with them to bed in my books so nothing to worry about. I’m excited for the Halloween episode next week, the girls look so good!! |

| So we got Jogi/Kazuma backstory before Chokirinne backstory. Which now I hope is fantastic if the production is delaying so much. At least something productive was got out of this bothersome romance plot line. |

| The new cure transformation looks good? @Marinate1016 where do you see that it looks good? the pink hair meshes with the red dress and it meshes with the pink background like they're one single entity, it's really confusing. It's absolutely awful, the only downside of an otherwise good episode. Good not just for the action but also because, once again, it gives what I saw in KR Gotchard in regards to Akiko Inoue (one of the writers of this show) and I still have not seen in the dying No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger, if the shitty last episode is of any indication. And with that I mean the Yaoi stuff I saw in the civilian identity of KR Legend and that I've seen in Kaito and his friend here. Of course my love and Kaito will never do anything, it's a common lamentation people throw around the father of the person who made the episode where the two date, that his romance thing never end in anything. They don't understand said melodrama and romance are taken from old-ass shoujos like Attakku No. 1 and they worked that way. It also makes me happy knowing that it will never end in anything, so I can keep Uta, particularly in Cure Idol form, as my main Love from this show. My final verdict: 7 for this episode instead of 8 only for the crappy new cure transformation alone (luckily it lasts only a couple of seconds) and 5 or less for the awful No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger episode. Let's hope the Zeztz episode is better. As a side note yeah I'd like too to buy Pretty Cure merch, but on my main otaku stuff provider (aliexpress) there isn't much, I don't know why. |

| @Marinate1016 and what the hell you think the Pretty Cures are? Sentais. The transformation you so much like is taken from the Red Ranger of the Super Sentais, only in the case of my love it sucks because the hair blends badly with the background and her dress. And I'm not the only one who thinks it, the votes speak. It's the reason why people didn't like this episode, IMHO. |
