| What an explosion! But it was useless against Pollux, apparently. That guy's truly an immortal warrior, lol. Too bad that Kanon and Kasa's combo resulted in pretty much nothing other than both of them falling to the ground. As Adrastea began to break apart in the Earth's atmosphere, Kiki snapped and vented on Poseidon about his lack of action. Well, I don't think Kiki's words influenced Poseidon in any way, but truth be told, he did start acting right after them, haha. His way of destroying the incoming meteorites looked epic. Nemesis lost her helmet and her divine face was wounded by a mortal. A terrible sin, but after all those powerful techniques performed by the Arch Scale Mariners, it was their biggest achievement so far. Overall, it was a good chapter with some awesome pages, like Poseidon clearing up the sky or Isaak's Arch Scale, but there were two elements that felt weird. First of all, a perfect fanservice moment with many characters known from the original series displayed on one page was kinda ruined by not including Seika among them. Second thing is that "freezing flame". I don't know what Camus would say about it, but even though the concept itself isn't controversial (Hypnos in the original manga did mention that a temperature way below absolute zero would be needed to harm him), its introduction really felt like a fanfic-tier moment. Y'know, Camus casually told Isaak about something that could be superior to Aquarius' ultimate technique, as if it was no big deal, while Hyoga presumably didn’t even know about it at all. Well, enough rambling, lol. Like I said, the chapter was good in general. ;p |
