| This episode was a nice way to end things off until the second half continues in a couple months. Toshio and Hitomi have such great chemistry together, but the same goes for Toshio and Cat's Eye, and there needs to be more screen time dedicated to both of those dual relationships. The bonds between Toshio and Hitomi vs Toshio and Cat's Eye have always been the best parts of the original anime. |

| Hitomi was more reckless in this episode And they don’t usually act “alone,” right? Not that they really did this time, the other two were still communicating behind the scenes, but anyway. That moment when she pretended to be a cop and faced Asatani almost as a provocation (she’s the only one who seems to actually suspect something and can really read between the lines), like, why didn’t anyone think they might be disguising themselves as police to get into places? People are slow. And that whole thing with them falling into the hole and Toshio not seeing anything; that felt forced. 😅 It was clearly just a way for him not to find out no matter what. Then Toshio goes on talking about his personal life to the criminal 🤦♀️ Now all that’s left is for him to come out of it with mixed feelings because of being stuck in the hole with Hitomi, without even knowing it was really her |

| In her first episode, Asatani was incredibly switched on. Toshio's incompetence is so contagious that the more time you spend around him, this is the result? Maybe Takeuchi and Hirano were, once upon a time, good at their jobs? 😂 |
| Hitomi and Toshio got stuck in a ditch and Toshio temporarily lost his eyesight. Yet through all that they got to spend the quality time that they both had missed from each other. Such an ironic turn of events! |

| Very convenient setup but not the first time something like this happens in any show. Anyway nice for the two. This was a nice point to take the break between the next batch not that I'll have to wait cause I waited it out entirely lol. |
