I know its not tagged as a romance but reading the Synopsis.
I want to know if the show has one or more of the flowing if any.

Do they confess to each other.
Are they just friends.
Are they a couple in a relationship.

As the other comments have said, it’s a one sided crush. There aren’t that many episodes dedicated to expanding on the romance, but it does often play a role in episodes outside of that.

There’s more to it, but I think the show is worth watching so I’ll leave it at that.

It is structured more like a pure gag show than a narrative feature for a majority of its runtime, incidents are resolved and we return to a status quo rather than focusing on progression of character or relationship arcs. The romance themes are perfectly enjoyable and present in some degree throughout but rarely is there any forward momentum to the relationships. So as long as you aren’t expecting a big payoff in that area it is plenty of fun.

Romance is present but in very small interactions - most are FC crushing on the MC:

● No, there were no oral confessions to each other, only FC's realization of feelings.
●Yes, until the end MC treats FC as a friend while his feelings show progression.
●No, there are not. Anime adaptation ends at MC seeing FC as the most precious person. From how the story goes, MC & FC romance seems inevitable and I believe it will likely bloom in later seasons(you can always confirm the romance - orig source: manga, is very far ahead). Nontheless it is a very cute series, highly recommended!
