Alternatively could be similar situation to Patema movie.

i don't think it will, the moon is waaaay too huge and far away from earth, the sphere seems to resemble an island the size of a city that is somehow floating, besides it can be far away from earth cause the people on the sphere still feel gravity normally so it must be just pretty high up

I also think it's more like patema inverted but not actually inverted.

If the world is following our physics, it couldn’t be out of our gravitational field, he was dropped from the “satellite orb” down to the surface, probably not higher than a blimp would traverse from the surface.

But this is a work of fiction where anything can go, I feel like some people forget that.

Idk I find the sphere and the grounds extremely similar in concept to the 2009 American cartoon Astro Boy film so that’s what I think is happening in Gachiakuta.

This is honestly such a good and fun theory! To make it true in the story, there would have to be workarounds to real-life astrophysics, but strangers things have happened.
