Well, after years of watching the OVAs, I've finally read all seven novels, that was quite the ride. The trip was long, but at long last I felt closure for all characters that I've grown to love, Woodchuck's revival gain a chuckle out of me, so nonchalant "oh by the way, I ain't regretting shit" <⁠(⁠￣⁠︶⁠￣⁠)⁠>.
Ashram and Parn encounter doesn't feel right to me, so fast, but I'll admit that him leaving it all and escaping seems fitting, he's a cool character so of course he'll have other adventures in Crystania, and I suppose this isn't all of Wagnard either. Ryou Mizuno wanted a bombastic climax for the series and I think he managed to convey all that.
At long last Deedlit gets to be the happiest woman in Lodoss, next the man she's always love. And that's all I've wanted when I started this journey
