Is this worth it?

I read some of the character descriptions and some of the bits came off as a bit NTR-esque. I'm not really into that as a plot device. Am I mistaken?

It’s okay. If you’re into cheesy cliche’d romance with some drama and reading just for fun rather than substance than go for it. A trend with this author’s earlier works is the main male lead making the dumbest decisions and putting himself in awkward situations that were easily avoidable. They just lack common sense. I personally recommend his other works such as Fuuka or The Cafe Terrace and It’s Goddesses over this. Fuuka actually features cameos from this story.

As a whole this manga isn't even close to being a masterpiece and it has lots of deffects, but it still is one of my favourites because of how unique it is in the sense that I believe that it is one of the few in this genre that tries to go beyond your typical high school romance cliché and explores the adult relationships of the characters, the mistakes they make and how they have to handle serious real-life situations, even if some of them turn out to be a bit stupid sometimes (this isn't always the case, I found many of them pretty engaging).

If you like the romance genre I'd say it's 100% worth it. Don't go with really high expectations and maybe you'll find yourself surprised. At least, trying to do something different has to be appreciated. That makes it even more interesting. Hope you enjoy it!
