Bomba is a single volume without chapters, like SayonaraEri, for example. This story follows Otani, a boy who is in love with his teacher, but with a touch of fantasy as it includes Bomba, the physical form of selfish desires. This story is very quick to read as it has little text and artwork. This story develops a boy falling into madness but with a very rushed ending in my opinion. But even so, I recommend this read to start with Tezuka's stories.

Though it doesn't have any chapter splits the work was published over a few months, with the material edited into seamless story.

I like how the story is about something metaphorical that becomes physical. So the line between reality and fiction becomes blurry.

Art is some of my favourite period. Lines are strong and bold. At the same time Tezuka was just starting to experiment with more Gekiga approach (I.L and Ode to Kirihito), though this one is shonen.
