Ye, there's feeling of deep vengeance from both sides now - ninja and yakuza. This falls in line in more with revenge than proving which side is stronger.

We got Tanaka vs Gamute one last time, as a sort of climatic battle. The drama is still at an all time. Tbh, this entire season was just crazy but I did like some of the emotional content from this episode. Pretty open ending though lol

The uncovering of Gamute's family as a corpse family, and him being taken in by Kiwami as his own son, it's quite the feud for someone who's not blood-related to the leader himself.

The final showdown between Gamute and Shinoha, with the latter powered up by the Gokudo powers from his Glass Chidren's officers to utilize them all against the ninja, who's always stood in his way. And that's why, in the same vein, where ninja eradicate Gokudo, until one survives and the other falls.

The fight, which has become quite the endurance for Gamute to land a hit on Shinoha, even with the double dose of Hell's Coupon, he still could not overcome the ninja. And Kiwami rubbing the facts in his face that the Glass Children haven't done enough to break him, it's the eventual reveal that puts facts towards the former. Apart from the usual flashback from not just Gamute, but the rest of the Glass Children officers, that the Gokudo of Destruction taking over the reign in dealing with the Imperial Ninja, the worst has come true for all involved.

Apart from looking mediocre all the time, it's just quite the feature for a violent showdown.

One of the most stupid shit i’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a lot. The worst thing is the fact that Ninja to Gokudo intentionally wants to be “so bad it’s actually good” and fails miserably at this attempt.

I understand that 1/10 is never objective even in the slightest, but I wholeheartedly believe this garbage of an anime deserves it. Ok, the way they chopped heads was lame but still hilarious.

This seeems like a prelude to the actual battle the title promise me.

Anyway, I'm glad Kiwami doesn't have any blood-related family since Gamute is not his real son, but it's nice to see Kiwami treat him like a real son, but "treat" in the yakuza definition is vastly different than normal people.

But the biggest plus is that my ship between Kiwami and Shinoha is as strong as ever since both are still virgin.

My hot take, the dream world is real and the ninja vs yakuza world is just a dream, it'd be too cruel to think otherwise.

I'll watch a season 2 if it has one, but I'm not sure myself if I want to have season 2. I think I'll lead toward "want to" because despite the bloodbath, mindless killing, Kiwami and Shinoha are such a nice ship, even if they're enemies now, no, especially when they're enemies!

Oh man there it goes. One thing id for sure say that its a guilty pleasure. No denying its a whole bunch of weird stupid and silly intentionally or otherwise but honestly also pretty damn enjoyable.

Surprisingly good care to the show especially as an action series from DEEN. If thats bad production then i wished a whole lot more show'd be that "bad".

I just find it funny that every good guys and bad guys has backstories after they died, no matter how uninteresting those stories might be, like we cared what happened to them before they reached this point lol

I watch this just for my amusement, not sure if I will keep watching if there's a sequal tho

2 years ago we had Under Ninja and now we had another ridiculous ninja based show, and by God was this show stupid... and I liked it!
Hope we get a conclusion for that final confrontation.

really enjoyed this alot. was kinda irked by how much backstory they gave to seemingly meaningless characters, but over time it kinda developed a sense of humanity to each side that grew on me. i hope to see a second season in the near future.

Gamuto being the MC this whole time and it being a dream would have been the best twist and ending.

Not bad, but I kinda expected a different "ending" in the lines of: Oh we are enemies, but you are my friend etc. and then a happy ending. Not bad though. 8/10. Really solid.

Man, what a trip. Finally a wild Ninja anime after Under Ninja 2 years ago. Enjoyed it thoroughly and it's rare for me to like the protag the most but Shinoha is such a sweetheart. I even got to like Kiwami since episode 11.

While the anime certainly isn't what you call quality, it got my interest so far that I'll read the manga now. And hey, the soundtracks were really fitting and the action scenes pleasant and entertaining!

Ofc, can't forget the BL aspect too, I wanna see more

One of those animes you just have to watch without any expectations or seriousness. The final fight between Gamute and Shinoha was the best this anime have seen. It wasn't much visually, but the tension and emotion of two mortal enemies fighting with their life on the line was what made it for me. Both fighting for their way of life, where only one could come out on top. Gamute sacrificed his life for it, and even though he didn't win, you have to respect his conviction for throwing everything away to see it through.

This anime likely won't see a second a season, but enjoyed it for the comfort watch it was

Dropping this on Christmas without a hope for a second is an absolutely diabolical move lol *sobbing* I just love shows that have good premise and are unashamedly themselves. This entire thing has been a wild ride and while it isn't a masterpiece in any category it's a 9 for me because it's entertaining and I love Kiwashin so much. I wish many more people saw the fun in this show, it deserves another season.

Pretty much a Trash Adaptation across the board
Stiff slideshow animation most of the time
Lazy use of the color filters and just throwing them in there
Reckless pacing

This was a fine ending to season 1, but I wasn't all for the entire show and it was very flawed with pacing issues. 8/10 for me since the fights were good, but not the story.

This series is all kinds of ridiculous, and yet... I'm compelled to take up the manga, especially seeing that there seems to be no hope for a season 2. Too curious about what happens next now that both know the other's true identity.
