I know there are so many excited people who love this anime, but to me, it feels like the story concluded and rather on a high note, it'd be a shame if they fumble it now.
Btw, I'm not a manga reader, is this going to be based on the manga or will it be something original?

Glad to hear it, Vinland Saga is so peak, it makes me so hard. I can't handle such peakness. S3 will release in 2027, and conclude the story in S4 by 2030, I believe.

I read your previous comment, and I was surprised there was enough to theoretically make 2 more seasons (supposedly 24ep).. It would be interesting to see what we might get.

@CipherKen both the arcs can be concluded in 24 episode season but I think in that case they will not add much anime original scenes as they did in season 1 and 2 because chapters were less in compare to 3rd and final arc. Let's see what we will get

Because there is high doubts about it, here in France. Nowhere in the interview did they talk about the production of the Anime, it's just the journalist who have randomly written that in the presentation of the article, without any actual indications in the interview itself. We know how bad journalists are when it comes to pop-culture, so no one care about what they say. Someone probably just randomly stumbled upon it recently.

There is claims that Yukimura confirmed at Angoulême's festival that there was no plans for a 3rd Season, but it's hard to find infos or proofs of it.
