| To start things off, it's two episodes, and right off the bat Mizuki is making lots of friends. She came over to Japan to attend high school at an all-boys school because she wants to get close to her idol Izumi. She thought she was living her dream, except that Izumi isn't doing high-jumping anymore since he injured his leg. Mizuki is out to make him take up his passion once again, but has to do so while pretending to be a boy. As if that wasn't challenging enough, she's rooming with her idol. And then there's the school doctor Umeda as Mizuki ends up hitting her head and ends up making a trip to the doctor's office on the first day where Umeda figures out that Mizuki is a girl, but will keep things under wraps. And then there are misunderstandings abound, all while Yujiro is attached to Mizuki as that dog seems to be wary of guys, which Mizuki isn't. A nice start here as it should be interesting to see how this faux BL relationship develops. The manga this show is adapted from is quite popular, so I'm expecting great things out of this show. |
| I'm glad at least the male lead figured out she was a girl right away. If they did the whole "I think I'm falling in love with a boy, but I'm not gay" thing, I would have probably dropped it. |

| Episode 3 Mizuki pretending to be a dude leads to some rather awkward situations when somebody sends stuff from America for her. The boys think that Julia is her girlfriend, while her brother sends a dress over, which could easily give Mizuki away. And then the truth about why Sano quit high jumping is explained as it was just too much pressure for him, and he injured his leg saving his best friend Rikka from getting run over by a car. But thanks to Mizuki, Sano has decided to return to high jumping after seeing just how big of a fan of his Mizuki is. That was some nice development there as Mizuki's presence has improved the mood, though that is until they find out the truth about her, if that ever happens. |

| Episode 4 Nakatsu has a soccer match that Mizuki attends and he win sit, all while Mizuki enjoys her kitsune udon. Kagurazaka sure is a creep there picking Mizuki up without her permission and is onto Mizuki's secret, though he hasn't said that he knows Mizuki is actually a girl. Then Sano returns to track and field, and he struggles seeing that he has been out of the sport for quite some time, but Mizuki encourages him. Then the boys have a secret hot pot party inside the dorm. Mizuki is trying hard to try and keep the charade up, but already Umeka and Sano knows, though Mizuki doesn't know that Sano knows and Sano knows Mizuki doesn't know that he knows, all while Kagurazaka suspects it but doesn't know for sure about it. Anyway, these boys are being great buddies there for somebody they don't realize is a girl in this school. |

| Episode 5 Mizuki gave Sano a black eye seeing that thanks to that bottle of booze that was accidentally served at the hot pot party that her roommate drank, he wasn't in control of himself. Nanba gets a bit too close to Mizuki, which leads Nakao to pranking Mizuki in retaliation, though he did quite a poor job at that by stuffing her shoe locker with way too many thumb tacks, and then drenching her shoes to that Mizuki knows they are wet before she puts them on. And as it's Valentine's Day, that was quite awkward seeing Mizuki receiving a gift from a girl there as they don't know that it's actually a girl giving chocolates to another girl, which is weird in Japan, though not so much in America. And speaking of which, Mizuki's brother, who is actually her half-brother, is coming over to visit, so that ought to be something. |
| Episode 6 With Mizuki's big brother Shizuki arriving in Japan for two weeks on a special job assignment, she dresses up as a girl to meet him, and Sano knowing that Mizuki is really a girl, tails her. Shizuki is a proper gentleman and is not exactly pleased with her going to an all-boys school, and for good reason. Neverthekess, he sees just how much she has integrated into this school. And then comes the first track meet of his second year as Sano shows that he's back on track, though he didn't get very far this time in his first meet back since injuring his leg. Shizuki can be quite the handful seeing that Mizuki needs to keep the fact that she's attending an all-boys school a secret. |
| Episode 7 Summer is here, but Mizuki and the dorm residents are being kicked out for two weeks with the place being renovated. So Mizuki is scrambling to find a place to stay seeing that not only is going back to the States is not a realistic option, while she has to protect his secret (though with Sano once again knowing the truth but Mizuki doesn't know that he knows), she decides to take a part-time job working at Nanba's mother's restaurant after hearing that Nanba is Umeda's nephew seeing that the place is short-staffed and she provides room and board. So Mizuki, along with Sano and Nakatsu, end up working there. And things are going along quite well, though when Kagurazaka comes in as a customer with his sister Kiyomi things threatened to get out of hand. Mizuki was put in a tough situation there, but it's a good thing she found a way out of it, as well as getting some work experience and some extra spending money in. |
| Episode 8 Mizuki is in quite a tough spot here as she overworks herself and collapses. Needing to wash up she uses the bathtub, but forgets to lock the door and Nakatsu nearly finds out about her secret. But he was lying on the floor while she got out. Then it's off to the beach and she can't exactly put on a swimsuit to swim with the others. But she manages to find a way to pull through at the end even though she was being hit on by some other rude boys. While everybody else would welcome a day at the beach, not for somebody who needs to hide her body. |
