Noah wields a sword that will slay anybody without fail who dare terrorizes the land as Garil would find out the hard way after he robbed the village poor that forced the villagers to eat the blandest of soups. Pretty generic start once again as this show doesn't offer anything new that other shows haven't done already. |

It's hard to be sure, because no information is given of what the previous life was like. It could just be a reincarnation from the same world, I suppose. I'm annoyed by the lack of information, but not enough to keep me from watching. At least it provides an explanation for why the boy reacts to situations in mature ways. |

| Eh, yeah a not as good 7th Prince, at least he has cute maids too. 7th Prince was fun because he still acted like a kid, the 6 year old who acts like an adult is kind of lame, how can he even lift that sword? Magic? I'll give it a few more episodes but don't hold out much hope for this one. Also him acting all noble because he can't have his maid working in the red light district, hey here's a thought eliminate the red light district. |

If you think Rimuru Tempest's life is too challenging, his abilities are underpowered, and he doesn't get enough praise then the writer for this has your back.
The main character gets powered up just by recruiting people, can overcome pretty much anything in about 5 minutes without expending much effort, and pretty much everyone around him falls over each other to compliment him on how amazing he is.

| So far everyone is either super obsequious, or is trying to kill him. All the praise in the first ep didn't bother since it fit the circumstances, but it was a bit much this time. The ring is a bit too convenient as well. I'm surprised he's just out walking around by himself, or with just the maid. Guess the schedule was too tight to animate some guards for him. |

| I'm liking this. I think a lot of it is just that this guy understands power and isn't afraid to use it. It's pretty refreshing when so many fantasy/isekai MC's spend half their time actively avoiding, or coming up with excuses for staying out of, any kind of significant events. Either that or the author will spend an alarming amount of time coming up with convoluted reasons for why the MC can't involve themselves in whatever is going on in the rest of the world. |

@runec I read the manga up to the arc after this one and if anything he just kept getting more praise and greater rewards for achieving less than he's currently managed to.

I was wondering that myself. Did they have a legit cause? I tried reading the manga to see if it gave a reason but it doesn't. It just moves on with the story like the show does. On a side note he is, uh, naked a fair amount in the manga. Shota bait naked. The maids basically dress and bath him and he just stands there ignoring the 4 women scrubbing him down daily. On a weird note the design of his sword is radically different in the manga. It's much more evil looking and harder to draw. |
