| And here's another show premiering with two episodes. Demons are supposed to be nasty beings as they fight, kill, pillage, and what not. But for Ahriman, that goes out the window as he's quite respectful when it comes to his daughter Doux as she's anything but those things. She's the only thing that can defeat the great Jahi as she's strong on the battlefield, but is being asked to play with Doux instead. Doux is quite helpful to an old lady and Jahi ends up being placed under a spell to do whatever Doux wants, and it just so happens to work when being given human orders as well. And then in the second episode, Doux shows what kind of demon she is to humans as she visits a human prisoner who just so happens to be a demon hunter who was ready to give up on life after his family was killed by demon bandits and he gets cursed by their blood. But unlike with other demons where coming into contact with them is toxic, Doux has the power to heal, and after she heals him he regains his will to live. Doux sure knows all kinds of magic there and is not afraid to interact with other humans. Ahriman is conquering the world alright, but in the most unexpected of ways seeing that his daughter is doing it the peaceful way. Pretty cute this show is, and while this is the kind of show where things can get repetitive, it has done so in an amusing way. The manga this show is based off is supposed to be pretty good, and while I have been distrustful of this studio in the past, they have turned the corner recently. |

| It's a cute and fun story. The demons just want to murder and steal and torture and destroy, but Doux fouls up their plans in adorable ways. It's goofy and lacks immersion, so I'll skip it, heartless fiend that I am. This reminds me of 'Tis Time for Torture, Princess, another show that just doesn't appeal to me. |

| Episode 3 And Doux continues to be helpful here. First, she helps a dragon by defeating the evil spirt that plagues her. And then she helps the succubus girl Sati with her mischief as Jahi can only watch them as they turn what is an otherwise depressing place that the prison is into a lively one. That song is really something. |
| Doux and the red dragon became friends. I'm not surprised. She's so kind and adorable. ^_^ Hilarious song again. It's going to take some time to clean that mess, hehe. |

| Episode 4 Doux has been such a good girl there that she got a great present from Santa herself, her own Santa outfit. While good kids are supposed to be in bed to get a present from Santa, Doux stays awake and meets up with the one being Santa, Merryna and her familiar Tontt. She has just been way too kind, so that one slip-up isn't going to change anything. And then the demon king's familiar Druj is looking to devour humans for lunch, but once again Doux shows that he can be a kind being as well as she feeds her a sandwich instead. Once again, pretty amusing stuff going on. |
| So I wonder if the story is that her mom is out conquering human nations, or maybe that her mom and dad had a split because her mom is too kind, and that's where Doux got her kindness from. They clearly show her mom in the opening credits |
| This pairs great with Tis Time for Torture on Tuesdays. Great Christmas episode, I love how they just invented an entirely new mythology but it was still great. I love watching Doux solve all the un-winnable situations she is put into. She could probably even win the Kobayashi Maru scenario without cheating LOL. |
| Episode 5 Jahi gives Doux the sadism test by having her pass out poisoned apples to humans, and naturally she fails seeing that she tells the humans they are torment apples, all while a fellow demon ends up eating them instead. And then Ahriman appears and they actually saved the humans from the demon instead of hurting them. Then the angels appear to carry the humans away to heaven, and Doux helps out the angel Mayu. Seeing how angels and demons are supposed to be mortal enemies and that she's acting more like an angel than a demon that Mayu is of course confused. When their daddies show up, the two promise to rule their race when they grow up. Once again, Doux defies all expectations as she can't be a sadist even if she tried, and she's much more of an angel than a typical angel is. |
| Evil Aeshma got what he deserved. Doux saved the day once again. That look was just "Aww." :3 Yet another cute song. They always put a smile on my face. Perhaps one day angels and demons can live together in peace. Do you best, Doux and Mayu! |

| Episode 6 Jahi tries to teach Doux to become a scary monster, but all she does was get bigger and hardly the scary being she wanted her to become. Even with that size, she's being helpful. And then Thaiti and Jahi compete to decide who becomes Doux's attendant, and Jahi has her beat in just about everything. But Thaiti found something she's better than Jahi at, and that is cooking. Or at least to a normal person she is, but Doux has some weird tastes and Jahi knows what her favorite food is, something that would have anybody else needing antacids. While Thaiti lost the battle, she did find a job she is much better suited for, which is as a chef for the cafeteria as her food is the talk of the town. Once again, this goes to show that great things can come out of things that don't go as planned. |
| Doux trying to transform into a big, scary monster. Well, at least she got a lot bigger, but her cuteness remained, hehe. And once again, she managed to save some lives instead of taking them. Jahi looked cool in her dragon form. Sadie is such a hilarious character. I'm glad she got more screen time. |

| Episode 7 Doux goes on a walk and while playing with some rabbits, she runs into a couple of scary creatures in Urun and Gauche who are actually nice guys. She is looking for advice as to how to be scary seeing that she thinks she needs to be that after overhearing Jahi. So those two give their advice and she practices with those kids, but it seems those human kids are doing a better job at being scary than Doux is. It turns out that thunder is much more terrifying than anything for Doux. Then it's a trip to the Spirit Tower, which is one giant ryokan. Doux ends up getting separated, and she helps out some guys before finding Jahi again. Great times to be had here as Doux's attempts at being scary are pretty funny, all while they could use a vacation every now and then. Jahi's hair is great as is, so there's no need to change anything. |
| The Friendship Waltz was hilarious. Doux made two new funny friends. Poor little one is doing her best in order to become more scary. Obviously, that's pretty impossible. :) Quite an entertaining second half with lots of demons and yokai gathering together for some partying. I liked the festival mood and the obligatory fireworks. And yes, you look just great the way you are, Jahi. No need to do anything to your hair. :) |

| Episode 8 Jahi struggles to use magic from the staff Ooparts and Akoman steals it from her showing that he has much better aptitude at it. So Doux goes and steals it back, but she's not exactly good at doing that. She has to sneak in because Akoman can detect malice, something Doux doesn't have any of, and she ends up stealing his underwear instead as that's what she thought she wanted to steal. The only reason she wasn't noticed was because Akoman was so drunk. And then Ahriman comes in to apologize for giving her a staff she can't master, and instead gets something even better than that. And then Jahi is under the weather and Doux digs through Jahi's stuff and finds a book she tries to read, but nearly falls asleep instead. As much as Jahi wants to return to work, she needs to rest up. Thanks to the help and care Doux provided that she's back up and running again pretty quickly, and with a gift of a free massage courtesy of Doux. Once again, Doux shows how quickly she turns the mood of various situations, especially at times when Jahi isn't feeling right. |
| This time Jahi was the main focus. Well, Jahi didn't get her staff back, but at least Doux was willing to share her magic stone with her. She's so kindhearted little demon. :3 Doux taking care of exhausted Jahi was simply heartwarming. <3 I almost thought we would't get a song this time. A shoulder massage ticket sounds great! |

| Opantsu is a semi-polite way of saying underpants. Ooparts are OOPArts. Instead of shoulder massage kata (shoulder) tataki (tapping, pounding), she wrote kata kataki which isn't anything. Though if I had to say, maybe it would sound like "shoulder revenge" on its own. |
