| I was trying to think of isekai I have watched where the protag was isekaied into the demon army. Took me a minute or so to remember "So I'm a Spider". Can't think of any others off the top of my head, so this isn't exactly a well worn trope. Although I guess a demon trying to woo a human is, or vice versa. Not exactly a strong first episode, but not horrible either. It's got Kana Hanazawa, so that's definitely in it's favor. The scary mom could be interesting, but I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see much of her. |

Can't think of any others off the top of my head, so this isn't exactly a well worn trope. Although I guess a demon trying to woo a human is, or vice versa.
Not exactly a strong first episode, but not horrible either. It's got Kana Hanazawa, so that's definitely in it's favor. The scary mom could be interesting, but I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see much of her.

I kind of don't count that since the Demon King was actually a good guy instead of trying to destroy other races. There are few of them that are fantasy based, but not necessarily isekai, where the protag is trying to help the Demon Lord, but most of those the Demon Lord isn't really evil. |
| The art and animation aren't so great, but overall the show meets my standards. I'm a little disappointed that the demons were defeated in the first episode, and I hope that we'll be seeing demons trying to hang out with Yoki in the future. |

| Nice little change up to the isekai tropes. If I have to watch another isekai it's at least nice that it is something different. A nice rom com that isn't a harem. Didn't ripping his horn out leave a scar? Did he chop his wings off too or just hide them? |
| Hunh! From title I was expecting this to be absolute trash, but I was pleasantly surprised! It's nothing great but it's fun, and I already like the leads. Production values are nothing special but for a show like this they don't need to be. I'm in for now! |
| It has the exact vibe I was expecting, based on the trailer. It's silly, ridiculous, adorable, and fun. To heck with the Isekai aspect, or any story stuff it will have-- All I want is silly fun stuff. Nitpick: It probably has the worst Anime cleavage I've seen in a long while, if not ever. xD |

| Episode 1 And here's somebody who was isekaied as a demon, and as the captain of a castle being assaulted by Yuga, all he wants is that cute girl in the party, Cecilia. So the party takes him up on his offer and the rest of the party finish the job. It turns out that the demon Yoki is not interested in being named the successor to the throne of the Demon King and would rather live like a normal adventurer and as such, he let somebody else defeat the king and let them get rewarded handsomely by King Dartz. After that, Yoki goes into town and rips his horn to blend in with the humans there, but hiding his strength isn't exactly going to be easy there. And then comes the marriage proposal, though Yoki isn't quite ready for it. It's just another one of those shows and at the very least it's watchable, but not doing much to make it stand out. |
| Episode 2 Clipping a harpy's wings isn't exactly a smart thing to do. And so, Yoki and Cecilia go out after she welcomes Yoki into her glitzy mansion, all while Yuga and Mikata are tailing them when the to go out on a date. Those two were definitely meant for each other even if the way it happened felt all too convenient. |

| Episode 3 And now, Yoki meets the members of Cecilia's former party for the first time since they defeated the Demon Lord in Raven and Mikama. It turns out the party was a mess and failed on so many missions, but they hid the truth from the public. Raven falls in love with Happiness, but the harpy girl rejects her, though that's because the harpy is actually nervous and doesn't want to commit. Then there's Kramen, the second-in-command at the guild, who is in the hospital after getting a beatdown by his wife. And then Mikama explains what really went down in the thought process when the party decided to leave Cecilia behind to defeat the Demon Lord, and it was Mikama who made the decision much to Yuga's objection. In the end, Raven and Happiness at least become friends. So now, the former party members are getting some focus here as things were already on shaky ground for them even before they made that deal. |
| The head maid being married to the guild guy was about the only thing amusing this week, the rest of this is pretty lame. I know the hero's party are usually lame in lots of isekai these days but this one takes the cake. |

| Episode 4 Fortune tellers might be nothing but hacks back in Japan, but in this world that's not the case. She foretold bad luck and Yoki experienced that in spades as he bumped into a kid, had his wallet stolen, and while trying to get it back Yuga just so happens to be there and is arrested for theft when he refused to believe him that he was just getting back what was stolen from him. But fortune soon reversed, and while that didn't completely absolve things seeing that he was treated to a fancy home-cooked meal as an apology, at least he's back to where he wants to be after all that. |

| Well, I was expecting slideshow fight scenes, and this show certainly delivers. The antagonist is a generic giggling psychopath who will probably go home and find some new powerful weapon to slightly inconvenience Yoki. |
| Man, I'm used to amateurish staging in anime (constant full-face shots of characters looking directly at camera - a major no-no in basic filmmaking) but this show somehow not only does this but does it off-model as well. |
