| Iidabashi's story about staying up all night creating a universe in stories was really cool, beautiful, and nostalgic. Onijima's ominous name certainly lived up to his actions against her, pushing the sales we see so prominently emphasized even more today. What a terrible thing. And was being anchored to reality needed? To some degree. But she seems more defeated than anchored. I don't think that's the same thing. I do see the intertwining of the political messages and the mangaka now. Also, I really like how Matsumoto is able to create such realistic-looking people. These people look so ordinary in such a special way. |
