1) Mappa got nothing to do with either as they are only a contractor in both cases.

2) You mix apple and orange. Its Shueisha who decided to greenlit that much content for JJK while its Kodansha who handle Vinland Saga.

3) Teens and adults are irrelevant in today economy. What sell sells regardless the demographic with only Josei as the niche one who aside Chihayafuru doesn't have that much high selling IPs with his adaptation. They just help with marketing. Demographic are a tool not a definite limitation of your audience.

it's probably in production...we are getting s3 in 2027 at the very least

It's not a matter of age, tho... CSM is hell of a masterpiece, and JJK also stands strong in the business.
