What does the watercolor drop mean? I have a interpretation

Hey, i was looking for some explanation about the watercolor drop in certain special moments through the anime; but it didn't helped. The branding of the adaptation even its based by this aqua green and pink watercolor drops. I'm not very advanced in the manga so i don't know if there's a direct answer to this, but i have my own explanation.

Feelings Expansion.

The drops appears when certain character feels something important. So i believe rhat the drops represents the exac moment that a feeling (love, gratitude or even pain) "falls" or "drops" on the heart of the character and it starts to expand. Similar to a watercolor drop on a paper. The feeling itd unstoppable and dyes all the perception.

for me, drop water in stagnant water , it means their life was usual normal life , but when they get in each other life it moved the stagnant water , that's what it means , as former writer
