I know there are people who like Yuji, but I rarely ever see them and it's appalling to say the least... whenever I think about Yuji, I feel how a parent would when they gaze down at their newly born child. Like, I practically birthed him and I love him so much, I would give him everything I have if he were real. He's so adorable and cute, and cute and adorable, I don't know how anyone could not like him honestly. Yuji is like a ray of sunshine to every dark and gloomy day, he might as well become the symbol of world peace tbh. I'm so sad whenever he's unhappy, and I just want to give him a hug! Seeing him get any type of hate makes me so irritated, even Yuji bringing himself down makes me so sad! An MC that's unpopular in his own show?? Dare I say I love him more than Choso does...

He's honestly the only one who anchors my attention to the show. I don't care for the plethora of professional badasses who turn out to be hollow, but pretty shells. I always felt season 1 was better because his development gave him agency. That felt like such a long time ago...

I get u. I feel like S1 was a trap tbh. I miss juju stroll and I miss my kids Yuji, Nobara and Megumi... watching s3 I'm always hoping to see a little crumb of them smiling (╥﹏╥)

I hate how Yuji gets alot hate as well for new gen shounen protagonist. He’s shown that in Season 2 and backlash of sukuna’s power and character progression so far. I mean even in newest episode Yuji mentioned that he’s nothing but cog like that goes to show his emotions are somewhat damaged compared to simplistic protagonist like Tanjiro. He’s truly one of my favorite characters in Jujutsu Kaisen.

I admit that at the beginning of the first season, Yuji wasn't my favorite, but the further I got, the more I liked him. Watching his growth and mental transformation was truly satisfying. I also love that, compared to other MCs, he doesn't have any grand plans, etc. He's a jujutsu sorceress. He does his job and knows he's just a cog in the machine. Even though Yuji isn't an ordinary person (because of Kenjaku, etc.), his approach to life and people is very human and natural.

REAL AS HELL!! Yuji is probably my favorite fictional character of all time. My mom even crocheted a doll of him for me as a gift! And it truly is a familial feeling; I love him like I would any of the younger members of my family (even though I was his age when I got into JJK and am now only a few years older than him…). He’s the truest definition of a comfort character. While all this anime and manga does is make me sad, I do still love it and its characters.

I was also close in age with him when I started jjk and older than him now but honestly even back then I had always seen him as my little kid- I don't understand anyone who doesn't like him. Also you're so fortunate to get a crochet doll of him I'm kinda jealous~

When he was calling himself that I was so sad like nooo you're not! He was such a happy kid before..I wish I could give him a hug and therapy I always feel so bad for him.
When Yuji says no one cares about him but his supporters are literally standing there (((￣へ￣井)

Adding to the Yuji appreciation. Gege is a freaking genius, he took most of the things that make BLEACH/Ichigo such a great, mature shounen story and distilled it down to fit a much shorter and more compact frame, while simultaneously ONSCREENING the character's source of trauma as an integral part of the forward movement in the story (for Ichigo, while nearly all of his trauma is technically in the panels, it's moreso presented as several side branches the viewer has to connect individually).

JJK characters always remind me of Chainsaw Man characters, just less unique and more boring.

he does get a lot of hate though he didn’t when s1 first came out, but since like a few years ago trend hoppers just keep bashing him for no reason . They call him generic and don't like that he actually doesn't want or like to kill innocent people and they think he isn't allowed to show emotions or wtv like how can you hate on someone who was quite literally just born??? His haters deserve x100 of his pain tbh
